I didn't really play it but loaded the game up. Looks promising. Maybe I'll give myself a chance to really play it at the end of this week.

I like it. It's a nice Monster Galaxy clone, that in itself is an okay Pokemon clone, that you can play on the site. Which makes me wonder will Gaia turn it into an app to port to pads and phones.

Only downside is the low drop rate for eggs. But...there'll probably be something else introduced in the CS to "UP" those chances besides the Mystery Egg CI.

    The game is unplayable for me on Safari. Firefox works fine though.

    And after playing it for a few days now.. I gotta say the most annoying
    part is the ******** frog I have. It's taken this long for him to stay alive
    and actually level up to level 2. My god, what a jerk. He kept missing
    everything. FJJJFJFFFFHHH

    I also found three more of that particular frogs eggs.. so I have four
    of them and have yet to find another type of egg. The odds are not
    in my favor. It's getting kind of annoying to me and my last bit of
    patience was used on leveling up his stupid frog a** XD

    *sigh* Hopefully I find some new egg tomorrow. It's quite repetitive
    but it is at least something else to do on here. I just wish it wasn't
    near impossible for me to find a new egg.

Like flies to honey.
Your best bet is to flee every time you encounter the frogs/flies.
That's how I finally got my Stagony. /o/

    Thank you for the advice, Neko! I didn't even realize I should
    just flee when those guys appear. XD Wow, my brain works quite slow

The eggs are kinda random. But you do get an egg when you reach level 10.
Cubdrop gets a skill either level 10 or 11. I forgot what level mine got it on sweatdrop

Thank you for the answer. It's rather off putting that they only get a skill so late, especially when you consider that the frogs have had theirs since level 5... That and sleep and shock (the thunderbolt one) are pretty unbalanced...

I think it's kinda cute. Just started playing, and battles don't generally hold my interest for long (level 10? I had to drink a potion just to get to level 5 - lol).

my main gripe is that it's a little slow. i might have more patience for it if there was an ios port though
that way i could mindlessly play it on the bus or whatever

To be honest, I'm not really digging this at all. I'm a hardcore Pokémon player, and have been for close to twenty years now, and this is like taking all the absolute worst parts of Pokémon and making them an entire game in and of themselves. Mindless, repetitive level grind? Check. Shinies with absurdly ridiculous drop rates? Check. Difficulty with catching new monsters? Check. SHITTY BASE ACCURACY? Check. At least with Pokémon, there's a storyline to experience and quests to distract you from the more soul-crushing parts of the game. Hell, there's even strategy, with diverse movepools and four-attack movesets. This is just clicking a single button until someone dies.

I think I'd have a more fun time farming for Saberstalker rep in Tanaan Jungle than playing this.
