Okay so this pretty little lady was abandoned. We took her in.

Took her to the vet today. She is a few months old, vet said maybe 4 months tops.

She has had poor nutrition in the past, there are some physical signs of this. She gobbles down fresh veggies and pellet food. Doesn't seem to understand what fruit is, and doesn't even seem to know hay is a food.

I've been mixing it with fresh grass, but she picks out the grass to eat, and leaves the hay.

Any ideas on how to get her to eat hay? I've offered a few varieties to her, and she doesn't show interest in any of them.

Also I already posted on the pets forum, but it is such a slow moving forum.... I figured some CBers may have some advice.

I've met a few fellow bunny owners in here.

Is there a reason why you are trying to get it to eat hay?
What's wrong with just grass?

Hay is the main staple in their diet. Grass is okay as a filler, but it does not substitute hay.
