As a cashier who gets rude/hateful people daily just for doing my job, I try not to act that way to others online and real life. I have no problem standing up for myself and others though if someone's a d**k but generally I'm easy going.

I suspect they're being really fake and just want to become popular/receive gifts.

I'd rather talk to genuinely friendly people who are too snarky/blunt sometimes than to these sweet little angels who always seem to try really hard to say exactly what people want to hear.

I can't be alone in that... right?

Yeah, rude/hateful people are the worst. I just ignore them.

But I live in a country where we're known for being very blunt, so my perception may be different anyway.

There are so many dumb rude people here though... urgh

I think maybe the inflation swept lots of "undercover beggars" into the forums back then?
