I have been on medication for depression since Elementary school, but it doesn't always help.
So I like to watch funny shows on netflix, like Bob's Burgers.
Take a bath.
Clean something that isn't overwhelming, like changing the sheets on your bed.
I have only tried like 3 or 4 different medications for depression over the years. mine was always for a.d.h.d as a kid but these meds I've tried just didn't do well for me ):
funny you say that I've been on a bob's burgers kick for awhile. i'm watching it as I type =^-^=
my room could definitely use some cleaning and organizing !

i cry a lot tbh
i like sad things because i cry easily, and it helps keep my depression at bay. i cry over tiny things so im rarely stuck with a full out storm

sleeping is another thing. when youve exhausted everything, i sleep.

keeping hydrated is a mild mood booster.

i also talk to my best friend about stuff. its usually something i really enjoy, so that helps distract and relax me until i start feeling better

all this is definitely very helpful especially with the sleep thing. If I feel like I might make an irrational decision I try to go to sleep right away because by the time I wake up I don't really remember what was wrong in the first place.
