Nathan smacked Aaron on the arm. "Would you stop fidgeting already?" he scolded to Aaron. "We have been up in the air for like thirty minutes now."

"Well if you didn't know, I kinda have an extreme fear of heights." he spat back at his brother.

"Yeah I know," Nathan paused as a smirk spread across his face, "That's why I love doing this!" Nathan playfully shoved Aaron up against the window, forcing him to look out.

"Knock it off!"

His brother let go of him as a pretty flight attendant walked by and shushed them. "Excuse me miss!" Nathan said, "I'd like some rum and cola please."

The attendant backed up and pretended to smile, "Of course? Anything else?"

Aaron groaned as his brother smirked. "Could I get a little sugar with that?" he asked, followed by a wink. The flight attendant rolled her eyes and handed him his drink, turning to Aaron.

"And anything for you?" she was no longer fake smiling.

"I'm alright," Aaron smiled, "thanks, and sorry about my brother..."

Nathan punched Aaron on the arm as the flight attendant walked away. "Pretty good, eh?"

"You are by far, the corniest man alive."

Aaron woke up sometime later, apparently him and his brother had fallen asleep. The plane seemed quiet, and the flight attendants were currently all held up in the front of the plane. Nathan was asleep. Aaron decided to look around at the other passengers. An old lady was across the aisle from him and his brother. She was sitting by a tall African American man and what appeared to be his daughter. In front was a kid watching a movie, and his two parents. The seat right next to him and his brother was empty...

Aaron suddenly realized he really had to pee. He scooted past Nathan and stepped into the aisle, walking towards the bathroom. On his way there he saw a very pretty blonde girl who looked about his age. For a moment they met eyes, but he just smiled and looked away.

When he exited the bathroom he almost ran into a lady pushing a snack kart. he apologized and headed back to his seat. His brother had really got some loot. The empty seat next to them was full with various snacks and bottled beverages. As they were chowing down a much needed snack, the plane started to shake a little bit. There were a few gasps and nervous rustling in the plane, including from Aaron, but the plane calmed down and people went back to napping or using their electronics.

Then the plane did it again. This time it was worse. A voice on the intercom sounded, "Attention all passengers. There is nothing to worry about, we are just entering a rough flying zone. Please fasten your seat belts and remain seated until further notice." Aaron clicked his seat belt together and started to tap his fingers and shake his leg.

"Hey, don't worry Aaron, stuff like this happens on planes all the ti-" his brother's voice was the last thing he heard before the plane began to crash, jerking left. He hit his head on the window and passed out.

Brightness surrounded him suddenly and he began to feel warm. Slowly, he blinked his eyes open and attempted to sit up, groaning in pain. Aaron looked around. I'm on a beach? He started to get up, but fell in pain. Looking at his leg, he noticed a huge gash. Disgusted, he threw up to the side, and this time slowly stood up. Limping to who knows where, he started to look for something. Some sort of sign that this was all a dream perhaps, or a way to get out of here, or maybe his brother. Just something, he didn't know.

He looked very out of place hobbling down the shore, all alone. He occasionally would fall and struggle to get up. He thought he could see a figure in the distance, or was that his imagination?

As Aaron moved along, the figure in the distance came closer. He was now 99% sure it was real. He could see a still body with long blonde hair lying on the beach. Another person? Maybe they know what's going on. Probably not. As he got closer he recognized the person. It was the girl he smiled at on the plane. He gulped and stumbled over to her.

"Hey!" he called out.

Upon arrival he saw she started to move and make noises. She seemed like she was hurt too, and there was a small puddle of blood around her stomach. He could almost reach her, when pain shot through him and he lost control of his limb as he fell to the ground, unable to move the gashed leg. He looked behind him, he had been leaving a trail of blood that he hadn't even noticed. Everything became hazy and he started to lose consciousness. He could hear the girl next to him start to get up.


His dream he had after passing out was of him walking through the forest, looking as if he had lived there his entire life. He was all alone. Wait no he wasn't. Aaron was with a blonde girl. She smiled at him and they continued to push through the heavy amounts of plants and foliage. They were holding hands? Laughing and smiling. Then they heard a sound and immediately changed tones. Huge scaly claw like feet walked by them. A twig snapped. The scaly beast whipped around, and the last thing he saw was the eye of the creature.

Aaron woke up some time later gasping and coughing up a bit of blood onto the girl's face. He was shocked to see her there and in instinct he tried to sit up. She was down by his leg, and by sitting up he had put his face near the side of her head. He took a deep breath and breathed in the sweet smells of her glowing hair. He blinked and looked day-dreamy for a moment, but reality hit him like a truck as the pain came back. He dropped back and supported himself on his arms.

He noticed she was bleeding still from her stomach. Instinct took over him again and he tried to copy what she was doing to his leg, and he grabbed onto her waist. She made a small sound and looked straight forward away from him, blushing a bit, but continued what she was doing. He ripped off the black vest he was wearing over his white shirt and carefully and tightly wrapped it around her waist to temporarily stop her bleeding. He looked down at his own wounds, they were worse now. From hobbling towards her, he had ripped the gash open more. He felt lightheaded, but this time he didn't pass out or throw up, he just looked away. He shed a few tears and quickly wiped them away. He felt like he could feel her gaze burning into the back of his head.

What a great first impression.
