I was thinking each family could elect a representive/leader that would handle things within the family to try and keep some order. One for the boys one for the girls.

So does anyone have any ideas for events that could happen to the siblings? I would like to have another try at using the storm as the first major event (though this one is gonna take place 5 days later instead of 2 weeks as it did in the original because we don't want to skip Ren's birthday now do we?) But after Ren's birthday, I'm not sure what event should happen next.
