The year is 2899, it's been fifty years since our planet was discovered by the alien race known as the Taurons, named for the horns that dominate their skulls. The Taurons are, despite their horns, a scholarly species that had been given the chance to destroy all of humanity with a flick of a switch. However, they saw something in the human race and decided to let their hands fall away from that switch and send shuttles down onto the surface of our world to meet with the then-president of the planet. The Tauron leader and the human leader spoke to one-another in private, both helped by a translating device the Tauron leader had brought with him.

It was not hard for peace to be agreed upon. With guns placed under the chins of humanity, a deal was struck. The planet would, in essence, become a staging area for the Tauron's further exploration of the universe. They used Earth as a refueling depot and as a vacation spot. In return, humanity was gifted with their alien technologies such as the Star-Leap form of travel and more advanced engines for the human starships.

While peace was certainly struck between the two races, there is a strange mystery surrounding the Taurons. As early as 2855 the Taurons had begun sending more advanced warships through Earth's atmosphere and damaged warships had returned to Earth for repair with almost skeleton crews. Not only that, but humans had started disappearing from their homes without a trace. As more wrecked ships return to Earth, the grip they have on the planet tightens. Earth's president is concerned about what implications they might have, and the possibly deadly effect this might have on the human race. When the president questioned the Tauron's on the presence of stronger warships in the Earth's atmosphere, the Tauron leader informed the president that they were warring with a highly advanced species that could, eventually, destroy everything.

But was he telling the truth?

The President, Johnathan Heinlein, had secretly put the military on standby and increased their training. Within two years the military had been given access to powerful battle-suits that could lift up to two-tons with ten percent power and had been retrofitted with advanced AI capable of running a thousand programs at once without a single second's hesitation.

The Taurons grow restless with their interstellar war and are on the brink of possibly enslaving the human race as a whole in order to extend their galactic campaign. But, even as war looms over the dark horizon, peace is still a possibility. The question remains up to many as to who the villain will really be by the end of this; the aliens, who wage war for their civilization, or the humans who break away and become an individual species once again only to doom their once-peaceful allies?

It is up to you to choose the destiny of Earth and all her colonies. To defend or destroy her.
