I feel like the effect is lost on me. I can easily see it both ways, since my brain can reason two scenarios depending on where the light source is.

I honestly can't see it white or gold! And I've tried all the ways too LOL

I can see the white and gold when I assume that the origin of the light source is the extremely overpowering brightness behind it, and the dress itself is in the shadows.

Imagine it like you're in a dark room looking at a very large window to a bright outdoors, and the dress is hanging right in front of that window.

I've tried LOL I don't know what that means but I really just can't seem to see it. Oh well...I just want that dress item LOL

The first time I saw it, it was black and blue to me, but when I scrolled back up to look at it again, it was gold and white. Now, it persists in being gold and white.

I understand why I see it this way. But I have a cold and this dress is messing with my poor beleaguered brain. gonk
