alright, so you all entered the Labyrinth from the North side, you are facing the direction you're heading.
Since you were heading West, you are also facing west, so to your left is South.

I think he meant that the door (if you imagine the map) is facing south.
The directions that he is giving you is the player's perspective.
So, for example, when you head south, the door that the player is facing is the north door.

That's what I think it is. If not, then shoot, I'm screwed.
