BD - 2nd half is repetitive and blah but it's a super cute, great characters with personality, really fun RPG. Similar to the DS FFIII entry but better
RF 4 - tons to do, lots of personality and also really fun. It's Harvest Moon but with dungeons and battling. As well as making not only food like in HM, but crafting armor, weapons and medicine too.
Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millenium Girl and/or Etrian Odyssey IV - Untold is a remake of the first but with a new expanded story mode and premade characters. IV only has the classic mode. They're super challenging dungeon crawlers. In Untold classic mode, and the only option for IV, you choose a party of characters from various classes and two different color schemes for all portraits of each classes' character options. Then you traverse through labyrinth dungeons, collecting items, leveling up, choosing skills, and completing quests. Also you draw out your own map in the bottom screen.
Shin Megami Tensei IV - Also an awesome RPG. The post below me reminded me to recommend it, played it alone(like only this game) for a month straight. Challenging, but not as hard as Etrian Odyssey
