Every time I see Valentine's day threads I say, out loud to my screen.

Not because of what is is, or what it means.
I'm in a relationship.
I'm happy as a pig in s**t.
It's just...
The day after.
I turn 30.

In my family, it's always been called 'Over the Hill.'

Also, given average life spans, my life will be 1/3 over.
All I'll have left to do is the downward spiral to midlife crisis and get old and pee myself in the front yard wearing only my underwear whilst forgetting who I am and where I live.

But my wife has different plans, apparently.
30 is a big deal in her family.
Couple years ago her younger sister turned 30 and we threw a party for her.
we had almost 40 people in our living room.
Granted, mine won't be quite as big, because I'm not recovering from a massive heart attack like she was.
