Always been a big fan of Batman.
Mainly because he's just some guy. Superman annoys me because he is the exact opposite
Not quite. Batman's a billionaire who traveled the world to become a genius ninja detective chemist engineer inventor who can probably speak every language. He doesn't officially have any powers but it doesn't make a difference thanks to an unspoken power every writer loves to grant him. He's also incredibly damaged psychologically, rendering him very cold and bitter and cynical, and almost alien thanks to the (cop-out) explanation that he's basically a genius in every possible field of
anything.
Meanwhile Superman, in spite of all the powers he has, is a normal guy. He grew up on a farm, raised by normal parents, lived in a small town, had the same high school experience most of us had, then moved to the big city to get a career doing something he was passionate about (journalism).
That's the irony about those two that everyone seems to forget: for all the differences they have on a physical level, as people Superman is more human than Batman.
And Lex Luthor too, for good measure.
