I havent had an in person friend since I was engaged.. Which was almost 8 years ago. Never saw I need for them since over the years of trying they've proved to not want to be friends, use me for money, or be drama filled.

I only have one real best friend who's been such for 10 years. I'd trust her with my life.
It's all about ditching the fake friends and finding/keeping the true ones.
