Me: "They got their homework done and are asleep on my couch."

Sucky Parent: "Awesome thanks for picking them up"

Me: "I have to be up at 6am tomorrow"

Sucky Parent: "Why so early?"

Me: "I have a class at 7:30 so I have to leave at 6:30 to make it in time"

Sucky Parent: "That sucks."

Yea I guess. I just hate doing anything that might cause tension. I had one lady that stopped asking me to take care of her kids after I told her I couldn't 3 times in a row. I had good reason and I told her them, but she ended up finding someone else. Since then I do anything to keep parents happy.
