Ocarina of Time. Loved both but OoT had more to do and felt more satisfying.

When they first came out, I much preferred OoT over MM. I didn't understand the whole time system, how much darker it was, that damned moon, but I loved the transformations. OoT more held your hand through the intial bits ,Was a bit brighter, but the game overall now feels a tad linear.

So, as a kid OoT would have been my choice. But now it's definitely Majora's Mask.

Majora's Mask's side-quests give it more storyline to enjoy, more tasks to accomplish, and makes you feel like you're actually improving the world one small step at a time rather than just vaguely saving the world from one large threat with no truly noticeable differences along the way in those you save and those you ignore.

Majora takes the cake over Ocarina for that reason, far as I'm concerned, because it made me care about the people I'm saving through involving them more intimately in their lives than the few times Ocarina did it.
