Yep, should be in healthy condition. Still gonna need a rebuild soon though.

Only thing that really truly sucks about rotors.

That and when you accidentally turn it off before its warmed up...

"The only thing that truly sucks"

What about being more thirsty than a V8? A C5 Corvette can achieve 28+ mpg at 75 mph on the freeway. An RX-8 of the same year struggles to obtain 23 mpg. The LS1 makes more power at 3,200 RPM than the rotary engine, screaming full throttle @ 8,400 RPM.

~150 ft. lbs. or torque is the biggest downfall of these cars.

No one buys a sports car for its fuel economy

and lets talk 20B v. LS1
with 1/3 the displacement

or 26B even

Well an LS1 is like what, over 3 times the displacement of a rotary? No s**t its going to have heaps more torque and power down low.

Plus its all a matter of preference and opinion. Id rather have fun revving the s**t out of a motor to get anywhere than have trouble holding traction if im not careful enough with the throttle.

I LIKE throwing gears around and having to reach the top end for power....its fun.

Now if i wanted to win races then all the torque of something like an LS motor would be much more desired...but I dont race...I hoon around on back roads at 2:30 in the morning.

Depends on the race and the track
low end power won't help much on a high speed course
damn is there a better looking car than the FD?

Fair enough.
Low torque on these engines aren't a big problem for them in a race. mazdas wankel even won Le Mans back in 1991 and got banned right after. Google about it. Low torque would just mean it'll start off from the standstill slower but after that it's all about horsepower. And considering how much it weighs compared to a cyclinder engine it had less weight while outputting the same or more hp.

But that's with professional teams with loads of money that can throw rebuilds after every race. For an average joe I'd pass lol. Though I wouldn't mind owning one as my toy/fun weekend car.
