Aliya watched in silence as the blond male addressed their companions, both the way he looked and his speech was odd and rather unnerving. He was talking as if he was going to die and these were his last words. She wanted to say something, something to stop him, something to make him rethink his actions. She really did not want to be responsible for the death of somone, Especially somone she didn't know who was going to sacrifice their life for her own.
Yet as he got to her his glowing eyes staring right into her own she found herself once more lost for words. She had never been very good at speaking to others, unless it was about her craft. But even then she had to work up the courage. She felt ashamed she was unable to come up with anything to say to the male, she wanted to, so badly, but what was there really to say? No, don't do it?, We can think of other things? Good luck? be safe? Those had already been said by the other two and form the way it looked he already had his mind made up. There was nothing she could say or do that would change it.
Instead he spoke to her. Morambath, a odd sounding name that she had never heard before. The deep voice in her head making a small growl. " Tsk." Was all it responded with. However the female herself gave the male a shy smile and bowed her head a little. " Thank you." It was all she could think of to tell him something she beloved he deserved to hear. He was risking himself to make sure she and the others got out alive at the very least he deserved a thank you.
he took his hand from her shoulder and started walking off, Aliya watching him momentarily then turning her attention to the others. She took off after them not wanting to be left behind. " Show off." Aliya looked back to the door way of the room as she ran with the others not really paying any attention to their conversation just the direction. She was worried about their human companion. She did not know him but, still something made her worry as if he was a brother or good friend of hers.
" Thinks he knows everything." The grumbling ill tempered voice once more broke her thoughts and as she listened she couldn't help but wonder, was it just her or was the voice in her head a bit immature?
They left the castle and disappeared into the shadows of the town, the place was crawling with guards looking everywhere for them, but with Phyr's guidance and help they managed to steer clear of all of them. With the cloak Phyr had given her she pulled it tightly around herself hiding her wings and horns the best she could, the male suggesting that they blend in.
Aliya looking to the two of them and bit her lip lightly was easy for those two to blend into the world they didn't have wings or horns or claws or a tail or scales or fangs, or anything! She slowed her pace so that she fell behind the two as they spoke in hopes they didn't really notice her actions. She looked down to her claws, they were sapphire blue and ice white from her shimmery scales. She knew that she was a dead give away to the guards and others around thanks to her odd body type... especially the tail as it was not really covered by said cloak.
She looked to the two elves in front of her, they seemed a odd yet perfect match in traveling companions. True the male was a Dark elf and she one of the light, they were still elves. People might question them as to why a dark elf would be with a light one but that would probably be as far as it would go. People probably taking them as an odd romantic couple. That was a freezable possibility right? Certainly, it had to be, how could it not?
She turned her eyes back to her claws, the only way she would really fit in with this group was to do something that everyone of her kind saw as one of the most shameful acts in all of Draco exsistance. Something that even Aliya, a Draco that was looked down upon already was ashamed to do. Become human... That was the probably the third if not the second worst thing in the world for a Draco, Aside from being short like a human or any other species, Mating with one was number one biggest now on the list and becoming one, completely hiding your whole assistance even for a small bit was taboo and wrong. But it was the only thing she could think of to be anything but a burden. " You dwell too much." The voice snapped slightly as if irritated by her indecisiveness." Quit lollygagging about, you know what to do, stop second guessing yourself." Aliya became slightly flustered from being spoken to so sternly in her own head. " Y, yeah, but, it's... dishonorable." She whispered in reply the voice only making a Pfffft! noise. " Who cares, not I not them, not anyone around here. You and yours are the only ones who care. whats worse, changing or letting your companions come to harm?" She spoke not a word. " I thought so... Now change!" " But I." " Change!" The female went stiff from being yelled at and mearly nodded. She closed her eyes and willed her body to change.
As she walked her tail slowly started to disappear, followed by her wings, the wound on her wing taking its mark on her back. Next came the horns, then the scales claws and lastly the fangs retracted. Leaving none other then a normal looking human girl under the cloak. Now normal the cloak fell around her perfectly, hiding every bi of her body it could. Her head sunk back into the hood not able to bee seen from the shadow of it and her body hidden beneath the fabric. " There was that so bad?" .. Still yet no word from the girl the voice sighing. " You will get used to it. You may not think it is a good thing now But, you will come to see the truth in life some day." W,what makes you say that?" " You have the heart of a panther."
