yo, I'm looking for a VGA cable that has an RCA output

the input for VGA on my laptop is just smaller than a USB jack, so I'm assuming I'll need an adaptor for that, too.

you need a Thunderbolt or Mini DisplayPort(same thing) to (VGA/Composite)
VGA version
Composite version
with the vga version it will only output video to the tv, no audio. while the composite version you can output to whatever you connect the Left and Right (white and red) to; so either your tv or stereo speakers.
