I was talking about the last line in it.

The last line of the post in question reads: "It began with me crying while watching the first trailers, it ended with me crying as Korra and Asami walked hand in hand into the Spirit World. I will always be a fan."

...I'm not seeing how this is important.

A much more significant post to talk about would be from Konietzko's Tumblr, which reads: "Korrasami is canon. You can celebrate it, embrace it, accept it, get over it, or whatever you feel the need to do, but there is no denying it. That is the official story."
