There was Okami, Star Fox Adventures, Kameo (sort of)...

But there aren't enough Zelda clones in gaming. Its really a missed opportunity.

If your looking for a Legend of Zelda clone, than you should definitely check out Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure for the PlayStation Portable... it's comparable in basically nearly every way, and if you don't believe me check out X-Play's review of the game biggrin .

Here's a couple of examples........

A magical weapon that can banish evil's bane

Unlocking doors with some kind of switch/puzzle

Citizens who are in need of aid

Heart containers( called Life Gems in the game)
