I think if Gaia worded the maintenance announcement better I don't think people would have been so mad.
They should have been honest about the security issues and they shouldn't have gave us false hope.
They should have said that they would look into it and attempt to fix the issues, but not make any promises about bringing it back.
They should have covered their a**.
I'm going to leave a suggestion in AtS on Monday...
I have a feeling that people are going to treat the next AtS as a flame fest though.

Personally I would really love it if they brought the guild interface up to date to match the forums. Tip buttons, thread layouts, and reply layouts. Especially tip buttons and for when you hit 'reply' for the layout to match regular forums.
One thing I'm not quite sure about though is achievements for guilds, only because I think most achievement hunters would just wind up creating guilds with no purpose to gain them and creating guilds on mule accounts for achievements that would require using another user's guild.

Even if they did buy a guild with no intention of running it, that is still sucking more gold out of the economy. It would be a potential gold sink. But I can see where you are coming from. I wonder if they could code it to where you have to use a different persons guild, like maybe they could do an IP thing if the IP matched the mule then you don't get the achievement.
