Those three are ALWAYS in my recommendations. Although I'm almost certain everyone has watched them.... If you haven't watched one of these three, get on that ! rofl

The problem is, too many people just ask for recommendations without giving any other pertinent information such as preferred genre's or saying what they've already watched. They asked and people are usually just trying to do them a favor. Some may find it annoying to see the same recommendations over and over, but without any other info, what can you expect. As Addicktion said, why should anyone get offended anyway, either watch it or don't. It's not like they're jabbing a hot ice pick into your eye forcing you to do it.

Well now, that's what Gaia needs for their next CI... the Anime Recommendation Hot Ice Pick. (ARHIP for short) Should also include frazzled hair, bloody clothes, and a DVD of School Days.

On topic though, no, I don't get offended when people recommend other titles. I will generally tell them whether or not I will watch it, or whether or not I think it's a good idea for me to do so.

Yeah, being a 90s kid might have something to do with it, they're the most easily offended and entitled bunch around.

but really if you're getting offended because someone's recommending you the basics maybe you should be more clear about s**t you've seen

Of these three, I only recommend Spirited Away sometimes. (Depends on who's asking, because some people will get offended, even though they should be the ones to specify)

And I personally don't ask for recommendations because I know the list people give me are the 'popular' stuff. I like to watch the ones that are not so well known.
