                                      Sakura Matsumoto -Mother - Miki was raised by her mother, one of whom got pregnant during college and decided to keep the baby. She was a caring woman one of whom believed in true love and fairy tales. She passed away when Miki was 20 from cancer.

                                      Junichi Sohma - Father - Father - Not much is known about Miki's father. She knows that he was a good man that was going into the medical profession and loved her mother very much. Whenever Miki asked as a kid about him her mother changed the subject. Little does Miki know that her mother never told her father that she was pregnant.

                                      Miki is a model and has been for the past six years. Before then she was in college for fashion design with Hiro. When her mom passed away she had to pick up modeling and drop out of college since she couldn't keep the loans going. Perhaps part of her resents her modeling career and wishes that she could go back into fashion design.

                                      Due to her job and the crazy hours that she doesn't really have a set schedule. Normally Miki sleeps somewhere around six hours a night, though if she can she will sleep up to ten. She sets no time aside whatsoever for food

                                      ✿ The Ocean
                                      Miki's love for the ocean isn't like most- she doesn't enjoy the burning sun or anything like that. On the contrary, she loves the ocean due to the fact that her mother's ashes have been spread there. Also, Miki loves the memories it holds, in fact, there are many pictures of her mother and her (As well as of her and Hiro as kids).

                                      Miki's love of fashion started at a very young age. She was always called things such as beautiful or cute and therefore worked to cultivate that. She loves to stay up to date on the newest trends

                                      Miki's zodiac is the cat and thus it only makes sense that cats would be attracted to her. She appreciates how low maintenance they are and especially has a liking of Neko, the mangy stray that seems to be attracted to the Sohma estate. Secretly part of her hopes and prays it will follow her to her place one day.

      After Losing her mother, Miki developed a perfectionist complex, a complex that has clearly started to take over her life. She will not back down until things perfect and will not hesitate to take down anything that stands in the way of things that are not perfect. The same goes for things that stand in the way of what she wants. If Miki gets something in her head and she wants that said thing she will go for that said thing with all of her might, no matter what it may cost.

✶ █ x HISTORY:

      Junichi Sohma and Sakura Matsumoto were your definition of star-crossed lovers. They were high school sweet hearts who had good intentions. They decided as soon as they fell in love that thtey would wait until after college to get married. Yet. Things were easier said than done. When Sakura’s best friend, Hiro’s mom, got pregnant, Sakura was quick to jump on the band wagon and retire, put all of her own dreams and desires aside, thinking that her childs dreams and desires would be much more important than her own. The two women stayed together during those long months and they knew their children would be the best of friends and they were right. The two were both cursed Sohmas, after all! It was truly perfect, after all. The two women in particiular liked to have play dates and dress their kids up and take pictures. They were fond of ones down by the beach ,beach-side weddings in particular. Everything was perfect until everything shattered all around them in the kids’ last year of elementary school. Miki’s mother was diagnosed with cancer when she was in the sixth grade and from there things went downhill pretty quickly. She went through the treatments but didn’t make it. All the same, Hiro’s mom stepped in and helped Miki’s mom to raise her. She became that motherly figure that she no longer had, but that didn’t stop her from developing this strange perfectionist complex, particularly around high school, when she would spend outrageous hours making sure she not only looked perfect but performed perfectly. This then carried over into high school and into college.

      She was able to go to one of the better universities and of course stayed close to her best friend, Hiro, and her adopted little sister, Arisu who had lost her big brother, Masa It was there that she also began to develop her skills in both fashion and also English. She decided that her dream was to develop the two and become an editor at a fashion magazine. The fact that her beloved best frined also entered into the fashion industry also made things quite great.Although, things were quite difficult with her father. Her relationship with her father is one that is kind of strained, due to how she refuses to really tell him how diffult things are right now with her perfectionist complex as well as her current dilema with her personal feelings. She also refuses to open up with her issues with her body image problems which are starting to progress and turn into an eating disorder. That's not a big deal in her eyes, though. There are bigger issues at hand, if you ask the ox sohma. Bigger issues such as her current job.

      Right out of college, she was able to get a job at an editing firm where she has currently been for quite some time, editing smaller fiction novels from newer authors and has been moving up the ranks and getting more well known authors, but that's still not what she wants. She wants the fame, the fashion. She wants the front pages, the flashing lights, the spreads withthe many bright colors. Oh if only things were so simple.

                                  Miki had one hundred and ten things to do, and suddenly her list of things had to be put on hold as she had to go to the beach house to see her family. As she sat on the bed that she would be occupying for the next few nights, all she could think of was not her family or the beautiful beach, but instead the many things that she had to. "What a hassle." She mumbled as she fell back into the soft white comforter, her pink hair falling all about her on the sheets. "Oh well. I guess it can't be helped." She sighed and yawned. Miki reached into her dress's well hidden pocket and pulled out her tiny smart phone, flicking through the hundreds of texts from her anxious author. She knew that this was going to be something thats he was going to regret. As she said earlier, this was something that couldn't he helped. So, she sent them a quick text and informed them about what was going on, gave them the advice they desired, and then began to unpack her things.

                                  She put all of her things into the dresser and then put the things within the closet she would be sharing with Arisu and maybe even Tein! She wasn't sure if her other, adorable little sister would be joining up with her! Miki could be a workaholic jerk, but not towards those that she cared about and those two young girls were certainly two that she cared about. After she was done unpacking, Miki felt a buzzing in her pocket as soon as she was about to call out to Arisu. Sighing heavily , she called out to her anyways. "Arisu?" She called, "I hope you don't mind but I took the bed closest to the window and I unpacked my things if you need to move stuff go ahead."

                                  With that, she stepped outside of the room and crossed an arm over her chest. "Hello, This is Miki Sohma, How may I help you?" She asked as she began to walk down the long hallway to gaze out the large window to stare at the magnificent blue ocean that laid beyond that. "Yes, Miki Sohma, just the person we were hoping to speak to." The person on the other end of the line said with a relieved sigh as they covered the receiver and they shouted to another person that they had gotten a hold of her. As she heard that happen she sighed. What in the world had happened and what in the world was she getting sucked into?

                                  "Ok so , Miss Sohma, We spoke With Mr. Sohma, your boss , and he said to contact you with any questions." She could only guess all the crap he had put them through and all the tantrums he had thrown. She sighed leaned against a wall as she took off her glasses and cleaned them. "Go on, I'm listening." They explained the situation and then threw a curve ball at her. "Ok so the problem is this, we shipped you guys 120 yards of creme chiffon instead of lemon creme. He was clearly upset and said that he wanted the lemon creme..."

                                  "This is the problem." Miki said, clearly unamused as she put back on her glasses and turned into the snappy b***h that she was known to be whenever she got into full work mode. "You guys really ******** up. We did request the lemon creme chiffon and I recommend you ship our correct order right this instant so that it gets there before we get back from our trip. If the wrong order gets there first and I'm lead to believe, or worse, Hiro, is lead to believe that we got the wrong order..." She paused as her voice trailed off and her voice became even more icy than before. "We may be a smaller brand , but we could expand any moment we want to, our influence expands quite far. Dont' mess with us, ship off the order of the correct chiffon. Oh, and I expect a pretty sizable discount for our troubles, yes?" When she said yes she was sure to sound less bitchy and actually slightly nice, especially since she was almost certain that there was osmeone walking nearby. Arisu would get on her case if she was working on vacation... again. But she had to do this!

                                  "Yes, Miss Sohma." The manager exclaimed at once. "Here, why don't you just go ahead and take the order of creme that we shipped incorrectly for free and we'll send off the lemon creme chiffon at a 25% discount?" That caused Miki to scoff. "Oh, um, how about a 30% discount?" "There we go, that's more like it. Thank you so much for your time. I look forward to recieving the fabric. It's always such good quality. Have an excellent day. You'll be hearing from us soon." She hung up the phone and sighed in annoyance as she walked back int ht eroom and grabbed her sunhat, bag, and sandalls. Hiro owed her SO much after that!

                                  She walked outside and right away, she found him with his friend. It really wasn't too hard, considering they were smoking. She couldn't hide her disgust that well, and sighed. To make things even worse, Hiro was ranting. "Hiro, you're fine, although, at this rate, you're going to be in debt from owing me so badly." Miki raised a hand and gave Taiga a small wave. "Hello , Taiga." She said, nonchallantly. "You know, if you're up to it, we're going to be having another photoshoot next week, probably around, hm... Saturday? Depends if Hiro will stop being a butt and work, but you should totally come model. You'd be good for this one." She was an artist of sorts, it wasn't weird to her, but she would go up to people and comment stuff like that, or she would say the opposite. That was just Miki for you, Blunt to a flaw.

                                  With that, she turned to Hiro once more, "The fabric company called and I fixed the order situation and got us 120 yards of free chiffon. Free. Chiffon." Miki adjusted her glasses. "You owe me AT LEAST a new dress for that. And it better be damn cute. There was also a discount added onto the lemon creme chiffon , thirty percent off."
