I love taking pictures of spiders and normally when I see one I leave it alone or take it outside.

BUT THE OTHER NIGHT

I was laying in bed, playing with my phone. Suddenly there was an action-packed moment on my phone and lights were flashing and THEN A GIANT SPIDER RAN ACROSS MY PHONE AND RIGHT AT ME.

I was like AH AH OH MY GOSH AH and it chased me halfway across my bed.

I was freaked out to sleep there that night (because I didn't kill the thing - big mistake) but I did anyway.

Then the next night I pull the covers up and the ******** bites me!!

Nah, these little guys are Giant House Spiders, and they're not agressive. I wouldn't pick 'em up if they were.

It's a Giant House Spider,They're not agressive, and not venomous. They look a lot like Hobo spiders though.

I love spiders, especially portia fimbriata who is a mad genius (shows object perminance, trial and error learning, a great ammount of memory and such).

As well as evarcha culicivora, who besides being cute

Is the only spider (we know) who actually drinks human (or any mammal really)s blood (although secondarily by feeding on mosquitos who feed recently. Both males and females use the pigment to make the red colour in thier faces, as well as for pheremons for mating.

Of course I love many many more species. I feel sad people are scared of spiders like the black widows whom almost never bite and in fact often struggle to peirce skin when they do, and when the do almost never inject enough to kill. I have been around them in CA and other places. Next time I am in the states and see one, I think I may make a video of it walking across my hand.

First time I saw one, I wanted to cry, but they're not mean.

I've found more than a few that were too big to fit in the palm of my hand. This guy's actually a small fry.
