The gold shops are updated once a month. Heck I remember back when we were lucky to get a gold shop update once in 6 or 7 months.

I do with that Gaia would update the gold shops more often but then they'd have to focus on something that isn't the cash shop.



If they don't care about updating the GS, or fixing the MP, perhaps they should stop profiting by selling gold, then? sweatdrop


People can still buy things in the marketplace using gold.

Also to your other post about wanting the August gold shop update, it's only the 4th of August. We'll get the update when we get it.


That is true, but back then gc items took more time to get out and the site was updating multiple things at once. So it made sense that gold updates took that long.
Now GC is ALWAYS being updated. If that's the case, they should have the time to make more gold items.


(I know this isn't the case either, I'm being cynical. I feel bad for the artists being overworked like they are. Honestly, I feel that recolor production should be slowed for gold shop updates for both human/animal)


I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't for the promise that a gold shop would be updated once a month, we wouldn't get a update at all. Gold shops don't make Gaia much, if any, money and as you know all Gaia cares about now is money.

we still get a gold shop update roughly every month. I don't understand why people constantly make this complaint.

It'd be better to comment on the amount of items we get or their quality than to ask for more frequent updates.


i cant honestly remember the last time i saw anything new in the barton boutique that was not for animals....oh right like four sweaters and that was it.
i remember when collections came out

I'd like some more animal items, preferably in their own gold shop. What we have currently lacks in choice and looks mediocre unless you buy in the market place.

Even shops that have cash options like Back Alley Bargains, Sam's Body and Parts, Phin Phang, and the Faktori haven't been updated in years. I don't think it's that gold shops don't get updated enough, but that its always the same three to four shops that get the updates, while the rest of the shops are ignored. It would be wonderful to see Dernier Cri and Global Imports with new items again especially for animal bases.
