The only quick way to make a ton of gold is to buy Gaia cash, since this website has become pretty cash-oriented. Cash items are better to sell than gambling gold generators though, as the items are guaranteed to sell for a good amount of gold. However, if you don't want to play, then check out my FAQ in the thread below.

Konnichiwa! Welcome ^w^ I'm also new but I believe for the first month everyday we get gold :3 also I sent requests to my friend to join and I got 500,000 gold each friend!! Maybe you should try sending your friends emails to join? c:

Hey there, and welcome to Gaia!
One of the quickest ways I've been able to make gold is to enter a lot of giveaways on the Chatterbox and Charity forums.
You'll have to wait until you can buy a trading pass though.
People are pretty aware of the inflation, and there are a lot of chances to win gold through bumping, random number generators, or just chatting with the right person!
