He said, finding it a bit strange to be talking to someone else's dragon but none the less, still a dragon. But Meelos nodded to the boy's last comment and suddenly seemed full of energy, despite almost passing out just moments before, after his battle had ended. He couldn't help but feel a sense of superiority from the boy and his dragon. They no doubt had to be a higher ranking than two stars. This only meant more of a challenge for Meelos. Surpassing him would take time but would also be a great accomplishment.

When they entered the infirmary, Meelos was a bit surprised to see the girl fully awake and just about healed. The medic he had spoke to before wasn't in the room and Meelos had to assume that he was back outside, tending to Jorin. The boys had entered just as the girl made her comment about a lizard. "Feisty." The dark haired boy stated, jumping onto an empty bed and crossing his legs. He sat with his eyes closed and his arms crossed, not happening to look at the girl more than a second. "You're welcome." he stated, not exactly expecting her to know what he mean't by it.

Kreiva's eyes darted to the door when she heard it opening, and she offered a scrutinizing look to the two young men that entered. They seemed to carry themselves in an easy manner. Perhaps it was unintentional, but to the young witch, she felt an air of superiority about them. Upon closer inspection she could see the stars to indicate their ranks, so that much made sense. Still, she didn't like it. Her distaste was further deepened by the boy with black hair from his comment about her, and greatly worsened by his assumption that she was thankful to him for whatever reason. Kreiva narrowed her eyes at both of them. "What, did you drag me off the field or something? Looking for a reward? I'm broke, so the two of you can sod off. And if you try anything funny, I can still rip you both a pair of new holes with just one good arm." She growled. Apparently friendliness was not her forte.

Upon entering the infirmary, Michael's first impression of the girl was that she was very unhappy with her dragon. In fact, she openly stated how she was going to 'wring it's neck' when she found it. The silver haired teen made no comment as he watched Meelos enter the room and plop himself on one of the empty beds. A 'your welcome' was issued and Michael awaited the girl's response. What she did next was not at all what Michael expected. Not only was she not thankful (not that Meelos explained what she should be thankful for) but she boldly threatened them both. A burst of laughter escaped the five star as Evaliir began growling at the one star, having taken her threat seriously. "Calm down, calm down. I don't want anything from you nor am I picking a fight. Your friend here," Michael spoke as nodded his head in Meelos' direction, "challenged and beat the three star that broke your arm."

Michael hadn't said what he said to try and force the girl to be thankful. No, she seemed to rough and tough for that, but he at least wanted to put the thought in her mind. It seemed if Meelos thought he was going to get a 'my hero' welcome, he was gravely wrong. Michael actually wouldn't be surprised if the girl went off on Meelos for getting involved in her business. Either way, Michael didn't really care. Taking a brief moment to snatch Evaliir from his shoulder to cradle her in his arms, he allowed his gaze to trail from one rider to the other. "I'm guessing you two aren't friends by the attitude being thrown around." Needless to say, Michael was in no way insulted or scared of the tiny girl. In fact, he was extremely amused and was curious to see what would happen if she actually would come at him.

So this was what started the fight in the first place? Meelos had no intention of reacting the way Jorin had. Instead he turned to Michael, grinning slightly. "Not at all. I don't know her. I was just doing this one star a favor. And from what I heard, that kid deserved it. Just thought she would be a bit more appreciative." he stated turning back to the girl, still holding a slight grin. "I heard you didn't even have your dragon with you and he did you up pretty good. I don't want anything from you." he said tossing his head with a slight frown. But once more that frown stretched into a grin. "Unless you decide to pay for my lunch?" he suggested and as if on cue, his stomach growled pretty loudly. "After all, Sven and I haven't had anything to eat since we arrived." Meelos sighed at the thought of food. He was practically starving by now.

((Incoming heavy profanity, shield the eyes of the innocent!))

Kreiva's mood toward the whole situation could be likened to a pot of water over a stoked fire. Calm at first, followed by ripples underneath, and then continuing on to steaming, boiling chaos. Everything about the two boys angered her, from their words to their demeanor. The witch knew somewhere in her mind that she was being unreasonable, as she often was, but the fury she felt smothered her thoughts and feelings. [******** OFF!" She suddenly screamed. "Every single one of you are a bunch of goddamn cunts with heads rammed up your ******** asses. I hate this piece of s**t academy, I hope it burns to the ******** ground!" She finished with a heave. Moving with the hampered coordination and speed of someone with adrenaline-spiked fury, Kreiva snatched her hat and cloak from a nearby desk, kicked and tore the covers off of her bed, then got to her feet. She yelped with pain, having forgotten the sort of state she was in, but managed to grab her broom and use it as a walking stick of sorts to relieve the weight from her bad leg. With a flushed face and tears stinging at her eyes, the witch stormed out of the infirmary. 'Anger management issues' couldn't even begin to cover the attitude that the girl had.

Cael Irritum
╔════════════════════════════════╗
Where at: Forest, Academy gate
With: Sylvar
Mood: Sleepy and bored
╚════════════════════════════════╝
Cael woke up from his afternoon nap with the sun beating down on him. He looked down to see Sylvar's head in his lap and his tail moving slightly at the end. "Alright Sylv, time to wake up. We should be able to get there sometime today." He moved the dragon's head from his lap, enough to get up and stretch with a yawn to accompany. He looked back to see the light reflecting off the silver scales of the dragon, while it lazily rolled over and gave a snort. "I thought I was the lazy one of the duo here." His dragon turned it head and looked at him as if to say One more hour. Cael clapped his hands, trying to get him up "Come on, you can sleep all you want there. I doubt you'll be the one attending classes." Finally the dragon got up, stretching his wings giving a yawn/roar."Guess we were made to be partners." Cael said with a laugh.
They walked toward the town, Sylvar keeping close to Cael as the tread through the crowds. Some of the people had to shield their eyes when the light reflected off Sylvar's scale and spread out throughout the market. As he kept along, he saw somebody with a hood quickly run past him, shoving him before a quick apology. Cael had done this a dozen times so he know how it worked, and quickly snatched his own bag from the thief's hands and then stole his bag with a turn. He waited for the figure to check his person, discovering he was the one robbed. Cael chuckled a laugh and shook the bag so he could see."Better luck next time." he said before starting for the academy once more, when he heard something he wish he didn't. "STOP! THIEF!" With a sigh and a shake of his head, he signaled for Sylvar to fly off ahead, while he started the fastest sprint he could through the crowd, and to the gate.

All amusement came to an end when the female had a complete melt down. Not only did she seemed steamed at them (for whatever reason), she seemed to hate then entire academy. Perhaps Michael and Meelos were just an outlet for her pent up anger. Whatever the case, the five star only looked at her with pity and concern. Pity because it seemed as if she had no one to lean on but herself which is why she lashed out and concern because that anger was stemming from somewhere. He almost had it in his right mind to reach out with his telepathy and play in her memories, but he had promised not to invade peoples' private thoughts unless it was an emergency. An unease fell over the room as the girl flailed in the bed, trying to get the covers off of her as she pushed herself to her feet. As soon as she stumbled, Michael took a step forward as if to catch her, but then thought better of it and righted himself. It wasn't as if he didn't want to help her; he just understood she didn't want the help.

A small sigh escaped him as she limped out of the room, using a broom as a makeshift walking cane. Michael didn't turn or follow her out of the room, although Evaliir did keep an eye on the girl less she turn around and lash out in her fury while Michael's back was turned. There would be no further questions until the young girl calmed down, and even then he doubted she'd willingly give up information. His light blue hues then turned to Meelos as if questioning what to do next. Honestly Michael had no interest in pursuing a person with such a nasty attitude who sought no company or help, but he would assist Meelos if that is what his new friend wanted. Besides, he still had interest in the ravenette and the illusionary powers the boy held.

Whatever her issue was, it seemed that he and Michael were the targets of her anger right now. Meelos knew more than to take it personally, the girl didn't even know him. He began to wonder if there was more to it than just rudeness but whatever it was, Meelos didn't want to find out. He looked away, obviously upset that the girl had lashed out at him. When she attempted to stand a part of Meelos wanted to help her, and a part said that she was off on her own.

A few moments he looked at Michael and gave way to a sigh. "I'm worried she's gonna get herself into another fight..." He simply stated. He wanted to go after her and at least attempt to calm her down. At least. Whatever she was upset about, he didn't want to be part of the reason. And her dragon. Curiosity seemed to plague him as he wondered where it was. "As rude as she is, I don't think she's well enough to leave the infirmary. And not with that attitude." He said getting up out of bed. "Maybe's she's just a little cranky?" He said, stepping past Michael trying to figure out which way the girl had gone.

__________Kreiva Ruskilitzer_________

[ - - - Dovan's Lodge / Infirmary - - - ]

Kreiva made her way through the academy grounds in an awkward, limping motion as she tried to adjust to keeping the weight off her bummed leg, and muttered various obscenities under her breath as she did so. She glared daggers at anyone who looked at her or tried to approach her. What reasoning did the witch have to be so upset in the first place? In a way, had she not brought her current state onto herself? The two young men in the infirmary, of all people, certainly hadn't deserved to have to deal with the brunt of her rage. The witch forced such things from her mind, though, preferring to let her unjustified anger boil some more. It's what she did best.

After a few minutes of walking, Kreiva paused as she felt her stomach rumble. The awareness that she hadn't eaten since this morning had dawned on her, and she gave a frustrated sigh. She went to check how much money she had on her, and then realized that she didn't have her bag with her. Odds are it was back at the infirmary, and had probably been knocked onto the floor and out of sight when she had been in a tear to get her things. She seethed at the notion of having to go back there while the other students were potentially there, so she put that out of her mind as well. The blonde made her way to the inn she was lodging at for the term, a place called Dovan's Lodge. The place was little more than four walls and a roof, but it fit her measly budget. She leaned against the wall so she could use her good arm to fish out the key on a necklace she wore, unlocked her room, went inside, locked it once more, and eased herself onto the bed. It was about as soft as dirt, but she wasn't in a position, nor mood, to complain about it right now. She just wanted to be alone to hate, to think, and after a few moments, to cry.

Meanwhile, at the infirmary, the pair of medics brought in the latest catch - the unconscious Jorin. He looked to be in better shape than Kreiva had been earlier and thus it was odd why he would be knocked out, but the innocent whistling from the male medic suggested that he may have given the snotty noble a bit of sedative. One might think that it would be better to have him be awake, to take some amusement from the state he was in, but it all became clear once the lady medic left the room to deal with something - the man filled a cup with warm water, then gently placed Jorin's hand inside it. "And how are you fine gentlemen doing?" The healer asked with a pleasant smile, making no attempt to hide what he had just done.

Cael Irritum
Where at: Academy grounds
With: The Thief and the Vendor
Mood: Excited
╚════════════════════════════════╝
Normally when someone is being chased by a thief they panic, but Cael couldn't be considered a normal person, even as a dragon academy student. He ran up to the Academy gate and looked up to see Sylvar flying over the grounds and past the larger building, before looking back and seeing the thief pushing through the crowd to get at him, with a couple of vendors following after hearing his shout. "What's a good day without a adrenaline rush?" he joked to himself before running into the academy just as the thief and his pals broke through the people.
Running through the halls, he startled some people before running straight into a small group of girls and fell to the ground. "Sorry, sorry, so sorry. Running for my life, I'll see you later ladies" he said after he helped gather a few of their things and looked back to see the thief run into the hallway. " Well at least it's down to one. Care to give up yet?" Cael shouted in a taunting manner before the thief started running towards him. "Guess not" was his reaction when his feet also kicked up the pace and ran. He thought he outran the thief when someone else bumped into him, not accidentally. The vendor looked like he worked selling meat, with a cleaver in hand as he pushed Cael against the wall."Damn thief, give back what you stole!" "Look sir, you've actually got this all wrong." Cael thought back on it in a flash with a quick reply "Okay, you've actually have something of the right idea, but trust me this isn't like you think." Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the thief come around and head toward him Out of the frying pan...

"I sincerely hope you have a very good reason for threatening a student with a weapon, because if not, I'm going to have to threaten you with something much, much worse." Said a commanding voice.

A short distance away was a tall man with remarkable posture and his hands held behind his back. He had a clean-shaven, thin face with a few wrinkles to give the look of someone aged, hardened, and wise. His gray-streaked raven hair was short and combed back, and his metallic blue eyes further deepened his piercing, frigid glare. As would be expected of someone with such presence, his dark clothes, consisting of a fitted long coat, vest, light shirt, and slacks, were smooth as could be.

This was, unmistakably, Master Avon, one of the instructors and thereby overseers of the academy. While already well known to staff and students of the institute for his impeccable memory and tough lessons, he held a certain claim to fame for diverting a category four tornado that had been poised to destroy Rolense, one of the most populated cities in the kingdom, with his mastery of wind magic and the aid of his dragon, Curach.

The master took a few slow steps forward, stopping a few feet short of the meat vendor and Cael. "Well?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

Usually when he was called a thief, whoever caught him would search his person and pull whatever they wanted saying it was what Cael stole. The thief had the same idea when he reached him, but was stopped by the voice of the teacher. He had a proper stature and held his hands behind his back. It reminded him of one of his brothers or worse, his father. "I believe I've been accused of stealing from him" He pulled up one of his hands from his side and pointed to the thief. "You stole my money bag!" was the response of the thief. Cael turned to look him straight in the eye before speaking; "Tip from an actual thief, don't take a thief's bag unless you plan on losing yours." It wasn't an actual tip but it was something he learned from more experienced thieves before heading here, 'don't steal from them and they won't steal from you'. The thief looked like he wanted to strangle Cael if not for the meat vendor, who had some reasoning when he said "You're the one who ran after he shouted."
"You're correct, but this" Cael pulled out the thief's moneybag, "was taken after I took back my own. Take it back and don't try it again." After he threw the bag to the thief, who almost dropped it, the vendor loosened his grip enough to let Cael dust himself and rearrange his clothes. "He took more than th-" "Just go before this vendor loses too much from his stall." At which the vendor's eyes went wide and he headed back to the market. The thief, now devoid of his good Samaritan help, tried to say something but looked at the teacher before stomping back to the gate as well. Cael turned to the teacher to thank him before he held out his hand;"No doubt I'll see him again. Thanks for the help, though I don't think I'm a student yet. Not my best introduction, but I'm Cael, Cael Irritum." No one would be able to tell who he was with this name so he didn't have to worry over anyone who would point him out.

Master Avon watched the exchange quietly. The three 'gentlemen' seemed well equipped to sort the matters out for themselves, and thus the instructor stayed only for the sake of mediation in the event that things turned ugly. Thankfully, things were resolved relatively well, leaving those involved with embarrassment rather than wounds. The master glanced at the young man's hand for a moment, then slowly brought out his own hand to grip it firmly, followed by release and a return to his stance. "You wouldn't be a student, no, else I would have known you already. Matters among public individuals can turn ugly before proper resolve is necessary on the academy's part, but the safety of students carries a heavier price. It would be wise to remember that assault on a student by those not of the institute is subject to kingdom's law, and we hold power to assure that individuals, particularly merchants looking to make their livelihood, are banished from the grounds." The man briefly glanced at the other thief that was skulking away. "It would also be wise to remember that abusing such protection comes with severe consequences of its own. Let us hope that we never need worry of such things from you." The master's gaze then flicked back to Cael. "I am Rurian Avon, one of the academy's instructors and masters. If you have not already visited the admissions office, I would suggest doing so in the near future. Do you require directions, or guidance, applicant Irritum?"

Cael took in the information before replying; "I'll make the note, but I don't intend to shelter myself under the wings of the kingdom's laws." He thought back to his own family and how he was treated while he was still with them. "I've had enough of that to last a couple of lifetimes, so I'd rather sort it out myself." He switched his attitude to the one he was raised with, more formal in tone and speech as he continued. "The butcher as I think he is, was only attempting to help someone else who he believed to be robbed, of course he wasn't wrong on that thought but he only knew half the story. He shouldn't be subject to punishment if that's what you're getting at. And I'll be sure not to attract too much attention to myself. Any trouble caused around or near me, I'll be sure to stop or minimize the damage if it comes to that." He remembered he sent off Sylvar earlier, and he meant to find him as the man finished speaking. "I do have a couple of questions if you don't mind. First, where should I go for admissions, and second, where exactly would a dragon go on the grounds if it had the choice?"

Master Avon let Cael make his statements without interruption. The instructor had no intention of pursuing matters any further than they had already escalated to, but he nodded toward the younger man's explanation as a sign of understanding. The master then took on a different sort of attentiveness when the newcomer began asking questions, likely a sort of attentiveness that didn't require searching for dishonesty or the scrutinizing of the person as a whole. Simply put, master Avon looked more relaxed, as much as someone like him could be relaxed anyway. "Admissions is inside the Atheneum, which is the largest building on the campus, and to the immediate left when you enter. As for your second question, if we speak exclusively of the academy grounds then they would likely go to the Training Grounds. If we expand to the surrounding areas, Aven woods and Malae Lake are also plausible. Social dragons tend to be drawn toward the Training Grounds, while solitary ones prefer the forest, or any of the outlying land."
