As Elsa tried, despite her own fears, to soothe her niece without ever moving from under the spiked arc of ice she crouched under, the men of the court ran from the room to follow her orders and find Anna. "Shush... Shush... It's alright, sweetheart, it's over now..." She tried to coo sweetly, though her voice still shook. Needless to say, it didn't much convince Regine, and Elsa just pet the back of that little blonde head that was buried in her chest. "It's alright, sweetheart, Aunt Elsa's here, nothing is going to-"

The snowfall in the room started to move faster, moving nearly sideways it picked up so fast, when the room was plunged into sudden darkness. The few candles that were lit to combat the darkening eastern side of the castle threatened to flicker out between the sand and the blizzard. She could barely see the child hugged to her chest. That child shrieked as she looked around and buried her face into her aunt's chest, and Elsa stiffened, those crystalline blue eyes widened. She held her breath when she heard the whisper of "Freeze me."

She turned on her heels as she shot to her feet, but there was nothing behind her. Not that she could see, at least. Regine clung onto Elsa's hair and corset tightly as Elsa lifted her free hand, searching the room for any sign of who had just whispered in her ear as her chest heaved and the fly-aways of white-blonde whipped her in the face. "Who's there?!" She shouted over the noise of the indoor blizzard she had yet to get a grip on, continuing to turn about and look everywhere that she could as quickly as she could.

Regine's wailing only fed Elsa's own fears. She was already losing what little control she had over her magic for the fear of the unknown. The constant crying of her toddler niece in her arm only reminded her of the fear that she might not be able to protect her from what was happening. She didn't know if she'd be able to live with herself if she let something happen to Regine. What would she do? What would she tell Anna? Oh god, Anna. Elsa's heart leaped into her throat as she thought of having to explain to Anna and Kristoff that she couldn't protect Regine. All she could think about now was Anna falling to the floor in the pain of losing her child. It'd be all her fault.

She kept looking around. She could barely see. The windows were blacked out, she couldn't even tell them apart from the walls. She had to find the door, she just had to. Everything looked the same, the whole room was black. She looked to the table, trying to use it to get her bearings. She knew where her position had been at the table in reference to the door. The chairs were all toppled and they and the table both were covering quickly in snow. She couldn't tell which end had been hers. The flurry only picked up speed when she realized she couldn't find her way out of the room. She took a step back, and a sheet of ice quickly spread out under her.

The twins smiled as Kasai pressed their hands to his head. His fur was soft, much softer than they expected it to be, and it tickled their palms. They seemed to tense up when he said that he traveled on a pirate ship, but he told them not to worry. Not that they couldn't worry. Eirian had so much they worried about on a regular basis, it was difficult to simply be and be happy.

He suddenly seemed distracted, which was soon explained as he pressed a small blue orb into their hands and told them how to use it to call for him. Before they could say anything in response, he vanished, and they were left to crouch there looking at the orb cradled in both of their hands. They rose to their full height again as the orb rolled into only Eiri's hand, and she carefully slipped it into the pocket of her work slacks.

"Do you think it's safe to go home and change?" She asked, her eyes meeting Rian's with a simple turn of their heads. As if to answer the question posed only for appearances' sake, there was an explosion on their floor of their apartment building, and both of them looked up towards it.

"Looks like we'll need to go shopping instead." He replied, lifting his free hand to pat her hand at his arm. "First, though, let's get a little more comfortable." He continued as they turned to face each other. They removed each others ties and unbuttoned the collar buttons of their uniform shirts. Rian folded up their ties and tucked them into his pocket as she turned around to put her back to him, and when she had, he reached up and began pulling pins out of her hair, dropping them into her ready and waiting open palm. Her singular braid unrolled, falling to a stop just at the hem of her back pockets. he picked it up and removed the hair tie, putting it around his wrist as she tucked the pins into her pocket.

Soon, all of her long, silken white hair was loose, cascading in one shining wave down her back, and he pulled it all over her left shoulder before they took each others arm again and headed back into the elevator. They would investigate if they still had an apartment in a little bit once they'd bought a new outfit and possibly had something to eat.

They didn't go to the same shopping district they worked in. Instead, they went to one a few levels up from it and had soon bought and changed into more comfortable clothes, making sure of course not to lose the orb Kasai had given to them. It was as they sat down at a table in the food court with their dinner that it happened.

They were approached, and the woman rested a hand firmly on each of their shoulders. "Hello, E.I.R.I.A.N. My name is Doctor Asefine, and it would definitely be in your best interest to come along quietly, nobody wants a repeat of Beta Nine now do we?"

The twins tensed up. No. They didn't want a repeat of Beta Nine. When Doctor Ciga had explained to them what they'd done to the people in their escape from and destruction of Doctor Brox, Eirian had been mortified. They didn't want their life taken, and they didn't want to take lives. When they'd found out that they'd in fact done so, it'd depressed them for weeks.

However they were terrified of containment and experimentation as well. "I respectfully decline, Doctor Asefine." They replied together, taking each others hands under the table.

                                                            "It wasn't a request, E.I.R.I.A.N."

"That's the problem." They quipped back together as their pale flesh started to glow, dimly at first, but slowly growing brighter. The doctor suddenly drew her hands away from their shoulders as if she'd touched the stove, and her palms reflected the burns. She pulled a gun from its hiding place in her jacket and aimed it at Eiri as they stood.

                                                            She fired.

They glowed brighter, barely able to be seen in their light, and the tranquilizer burned up before it could make its mark. Asefine pulled a specialized pair of UV glasses from her breast pocket and put them on as she jumped back away from them. Everything within feet of them was getting burnt up in their light, and people began to run. Asefine didn't, though. Instead, the brighter their light got, the further she backed away, and finally, she reached into her pockets and pulled out a handful of small marble like devices. She threw them at the twins, and a containment field went up around them, shielding the food court from the damage of their light. They flashed brightly, blindingly, as they attempted to break the containment field.

They couldn't get out, and Asefine pulled a handheld computer out of her pocket and entered a few things. Suddenly, involuntarily, their light blinked out, and they fell to their knees. "How disappointing," The doctor said as they laced their fingers together and worked to catch their breath. "Everyone is always on about how difficult you are to capture, and here I've done it in all of three minutes."

The twins shared a look as they tried to shine their light again, but nothing happened. "Don't bother trying. The containment field has neutralized your light so that it can't be used. We have a long week ahead of us, E.I.R.I.A.N."

They shared a look. Without their light, they were doomed. They'd be separated, weakened, passed around between laboratory after laboratory... Eiri pulled the orb out of her pocket as the woman looked down to her computer. "Kasai." They murmured together.

None of the twelve can quite remember when was the last time that sign wasn't split for Scorpio and Sagittarius to burden. No one can quite remember what the Ophiuchus sign was like, their voice, their face. What had happened to them- why there wasn't another since. It'd been so long since there was an embodiment of the sign, it was mostly a haze.

Each of the thirteen signs bears its own temple, used by each, except Ophiuchus. The Ophiuchus temple is long abandoned, crumbling and dangerous in its disbelieved in and forgotten state; used only once every thirteen centuries to try to find, fruitlessly, the true successor of the sign. The one person whose stars aligned exactly right. Only now has one been found. It's been millennia since the last true Ophiuchus. Not all believe that the person now with them, in need of guidance, training, and most of all, answers, is the Ophiuchus. Others do, and thus is where the battle begins.

Personality: Generally, Eurydice keeps a calm and collected demeanor. Since she became blind, she learned to slow down and take things, quite literally in some cases, one step at a time. It's difficult to anger her or to get a rise out of her in general. She prefers to keep to neutral ground, but when she does decide that something's worth her involvement, she's fierce and a force to be reckoned with. She's kind to all who encounter her, though not all are kind to her, she thinks the world would be a better place if people would simply do good and be good.

The boy and girl were exactly the same height, with the same white-blonde hair and vibrant blue eyes. Boy and girl both were thin as a wisp, and were it not for his hair being cut short, he could have easily been mistaken for his other half. He adjusted the lapels of her uniform jacket in return both of them holding onto the creases for a moment, their eyes never parting from one another. He buttoned the top button of her jacket after only another moment and started his way down the row of buttons to her waist.
