Abidan Salvai

Some time had passed since Abidan had last seen Franks. In that time, the young teenager had began his own training regiment under his three uncles. They had agreed to oversee his training themselves because they needed to be ready in case another invasion came into the human territory.

Abidan sat in a small wooden shack in the heart of the land of vampires, his chest bare. He had a scroll placed on the shack, rendering it invisible to even a vampire's senses. The shack was in the wilderness further increasing security. The boy was sitting on a small wooden chair cleaning one of the hook blades. The second blade rested on a white cotton towel on top of his cot.
After wiping the blade in his lap, Abidan stood up and walked to the cot where he placed the blade down. He turned to go to a trunk by the bed. He took out his emei piercers, hiding them under a bracer on his wrists. He took a belt and buckled it. It had a dagger inside a small scabbard.

Abidan checked the time as he dressed and left. Outside, he looked around and locked the door. It was time to search for wood. He was running low on cross bolts. He finished tying his cape and walked over the grass. After 100 paces, he looked back to see his shack was gone and he looked like a vampire, pale skin, pointy teeth. He smiled, satisfied with himself, and proceeded into the woods.
