        xxIntroducing: the farewellxxxxxxx

            There comes a time where every great legacy has to end.
            This is the time for us. We are no longer able to run Audacity as we have in the past.
            People have gotten busy, have gotten lives, and Gaia is just not the same as it was.
            I'm truly sorry for not keeping up in the past few months, but it's just been hard.

            I want to thank everyone for sticking with us all this way. If you have ever come into
            Audacity, found a home among us, I consider that one of the best achievements of my
            Gaian lifetime. Thank you guys for all the memories, all the laughs, and everything in between.
            You guys are one of the best group of people I have ever had to pleasure of meeting.
            Thank you all so much for a wonderful Gaian journey.

            & don't worry ... it's never truly the end. Not for us. ;D

            Hello folks and welcome to the grand re-opening of Audacity!
            Audacity was derived from two completely different charities.
            We had a good run back then but now we're back and bigger!
            This time, we're more of a relaxed hangout thread than charity.
            We plan to have a multitude of exciting events and contests.
            We aim to spread the fortune and fortitude around the world.
            This isn't a sanctuary for dreams, but a home to be a part of.
            Join us as we try to rekindle the Gaian spirit and community.
            Motivated by friendship, there will be no soldiers left behind.

                                    In the long term, using a sibling is more economically viable, because they're reusable. Up to an estimated 70 years or so, generally - if you keep them in good condition, they can last even longer.
