Hiya, I'm Pharaoh Misa, and welcome to Underrated, my first ever avatar contest (contest in general redface ). This is going to be the greatest contest ever with mini prizes included! Here, contestants will go through unique challenges to create avatars, each vying for the "ultimate" prize of...the original Inari Beads!

I have two, so I don't mind giving out the original. I'll never understand this gen thing...

I dunno about you, but it saddens me greatly when I see all of these cosplays that are being done are the exact same ones. The Sailor Scouts, Elsa, the Supernatural fandom (although I do love that show), Sephiroth and his final fantasy kingdom of hearts, *deep voice* Batman, Soul Reapers...the list goes on. But, what about those shows, movies, animes, video games we used to love? Why doesn't anyone cosplay them? gonk Well, that's what this contest is about. I'm picking ten references that I think are underrated. Some are well known and simply not done, or aren't well known and aren't done anyway. Two of them are ones that are very rarely done, and will surprise you.

This is like one of those Project Runway shows: each round, there will be an underrated cosplay theme and each contestant must select a character for that theme. It's a first come kinda deal. After characters are selected, each contestant must create their very own look for it using tektek or the dressing room, submitted to this thread; they will have a maximum of two weeks to do so. After, the works will be judged by our panel of three, myself included. Each round, one contestant will be eliminated. Each round will (should gonk ) get tougher with the mini prizes (and they are mini) getting better. This will continue for a total of ten rounds, with the first being an entry round, before the final winner is announced and can claim their Inari Beads prize.

☥Rules.☥
1) Follow Gaia's ToS.
2) Both tekteks and dressing room avatars are allowed.
3) Each round will have specific rules; be sure to follow them.
4) Avatars are to be turned in by deadline, a period of two weeks following round up.
5) Before you submit an entry, you must be cleared (meaning that the character you've selected hasn't been selected by anyone else.) Every entry should be posted in this thread along with a reference image.
6) Judgement is absolute (all persons who want to hear judgement must mark so in skeleton, otherwise, you'll never know; judgement will be sent via PM)

☥Prize Pool.☥

Prizes that will be given out are as follows:
Each contestant eliminated will receive 3.5mil as a s consolation prize.
Each contestant that survives each round will receive 10.5mil.
Contestants with the highest points out of 30, each round, will receive a special trade with items from my inventory (not saying what, and prizes get "better" each round).
Last contestant standing will receive Inari Beads and 100mil.
After the contest is over, the nine contestants eliminated can come back for a bonus round to win [Animal] Her Darkness and 20mil!

Round Rules::
This is what you would call the entry round. THERE WILL BE NO ELIMINATIONS THIS ROUND. You are to create a cosplay using characters from Yu-Gi-Oh DUEL MONSTERS. Monsters/traps/magic cards are welcome, but only from duel monsters. Cosplays from the other Yu-Gi-Oh shows will not be accepted. Round Rules
Oh, this might sound easy but its not as easy as you think. You are to create a a cosplay of lesser known/rarely cosplayed superheros, such as Static Shock, The Mask, or Marvelman. You ARE NOT to create an avatar of a superhero from this list. I have removed some names as I feel they're either unknown or not cosplayed enough. Anyone else is a sure thing. Feel free to Google image search your characters as well. THERE WILL BE NO ELIMINATIONS THIS ROUND.

Round Rules::
Remember when I said there would be two rarely done and will-surprise-you rounds? Wellp, this is the first one. I have only seen a celebrity cosplay once (literally the first and last was a Pharrell Williams cosplay and that's where I got the idea). So that's what you'll have to do round. You may select any celebrity of your choice, however, this celebrity must be from the 20th century and forward.

I ******** hate Barbie. She is beyond overrated. emotion_eyebrow So instead, the four of you are to create a Bratz doll; one of the four main girls with a passion for fashion, Cloe, Jade, Sasha, or Yasmin. Aside from being known for their passion for fashion, these girls are so known for their droolworthy lips; so be sure to add a lip mod to your avatar. I have literally never seen a Bratz cosplay in real life or Gaia and it would please me greatly.

In my own defense, everyone should've seen this coming. emotion_donotwant This is literally the most underrated Disney film that has ever been created. And I can say that with a whole lot of confidence. The shame I feel when no one has no idea who these people are. Your challenge is to create a cosplay of one of the characters from this movie. Twist: with the exception of Princess Queen Kida and Hero Milo Thatch.

Bonus: You can submit a Kida or Milo Thatch, entry, but only as a bonus. Submitting a bonus gives you a extra little prize. Getting a ten from any one of us will get you a second extra bonus.

(YOU MADE IT! emotion_hug ( No, not yet. First things first, I need you to fill out the form. Once I have all ten contestants, first round, an entry round, will go up, and you will have to select a character to be your reference. You make tektek or use your dressing room (which means your inventory AND you can search for things on gaia to add to it)

What cosplays are you tired of seeing? Well I never tired seeing any cosplay lol! But if I have to chose one I'll say Sailor Moon lol ( sorry :sweat ) because it's the most usual cosplay in gaia. xd
