Personality : Grace's life has been filled with uncertainty, and it shows through in her personality. She thinks of her powers, and her general abilities as a person, as more of a hindrance than a help. She tries to be as helpful and cooperative with anyone she meets as possible because she has a big fear of being abandoned. She's the kind of person to avoid facing her problems, to run from them, to appease them, to find some way other than the hard way: standing up for herself.
Oddly enough, for all that she does to avoid them, Grace is very good at acting under pressure and making split second decisions. When her back's against the wall, she can usually find a way out, no matter how grim the odds may look or how little she has to work with. She's smart, she takes note of things, and whenever her brain is too preoccupied to remember how much of a pest she is, she can actually accomplish a lot.
Biography : Grace was the older of two children. Neither her brother nor her two parents were mutants, so when things started going weird around the time Grace turned eleven, her family had no idea what to do.
At first it was small things. When her class when to computer room, none of the computers would work for her. Every time she sat down at one, it wouldn't work for the rest of the day. The other kids started saying that she was a walking glitch. She was embarrassed at first, but when she started realizing that she could do it on purpose, the name Glitch was one she started to take a little pride in, or at least she did until things started changing.
As mutants became more and more marginalized, she quickly realized that staying at home was putting her family at risk. They tried to help her hide her powers, but they didn't know any more than she did about controlling them. Finally, she ran away, figuring they'd be better off for it. It's been pretty rough since then, but she's found ways to muddle through, odd jobs here and there, even stealing when it got really bad. She tries not to do that though, as it draws attention to herself.
Other : Grace has an intense love-hate relationship with thunderstorms. She draws in lightning like a lightning rod and while the bolts don't damage her, they create a rush of power through her system. It's an intense high where she is immensely powerful, but then it leaves her drained and aching, sometimes for days afterwards.
