I was playing this RPG and the ice armor is supposed to be effective against fire enemies. But should this really be the case? Wouldn't fire rip through and melt ice? I would think fire armor would be better against a fire attack because the damage should be minimal. IYHO, should ice weapons and armor be effective against fire and flame enemies and attacks?

I think Megaman Zero also had Ice weapons be effective against Fire

yeah thats trippy. Games I've played ice absorbs water and doesnt really do anything vs fire. ice enemies however, are weak to fire.

Yeah, I agree. It would only make sense if the ice melted to put out the flame, haha. But it's just a game, so don't sweat it razz

If someone attacked my with flames, a shield of ice doesn't sound half bad.
It will absorb the heat and block the flames, keeping the skin cool.
Unless the flame persists for a longer period of time the ice won't melt in an instant.
