One, I'm not a follower, I came here and posted of my own free will.

Two: Lets forget that not only does Bryan have no one to compete against for the title, besides Kane-AGAIN, that he was injured and out for surgery so of course the focus was shifted more on Shield vs Evolution and once that's over the end game will be Bryan.

The fact that you have to stoop to such a crude childish remark due to you loosing ground proves how wrong you are.

Dude...come over to reality. You haven't made a single point in the entire conversation. You can act like you're "winning" all you want...the thread shows a completely different story.

Quote:
The hype has already begun to die down. Why else do you think Evolution and Shield have been shifted into the lime light?

Well, there's the fact that Daniel Bryan had ******** neck surgery and is going to be gone for awhile.

Quote:
That's a rhetorical question.

You might have meant it rhetorically because you didn't want me answering it to show you just how ******** idiotic you are...but there's still an answer to it...and you're still wrong.

Quote:
It's because Daniel Bryan's only asset is his in ring prowess,

....So...you clearly don't understand what rhetorical means either....you see, you ask a rhetorical question when you don't intend to get an answer, but have the listener think about the meaning of the question....If you then go on to try and answer your "rhetorical question"....It isn't ******** rhetorical....

Quote:
and that simply isn't enough to bring him into fruition. No matter how much you or your other followers want it too.

Ah, that ol' argument. Someone agrees with me so they must be my followers and clearly aren't just swayed by logical explanations and reasoning. You're grasping at straws, kid.

None of that takes away from the point that I find Daniel Bryan boring.
I don't think honestly that anyone here gets excited when Daniel Bryan cuts a promo. This is an important part of being "The Face" of WWE and being the megastar everyone claims he is. Punk, Cena, Rock, and Stone Cold are at least all vocally captivating.

Okay...now I know you're clearly trolling.

If you, PERSONALLY, find him boring that's one thing. Down playing his role in WWE is another thing. I don't know what you see, but a person that can contentiously get a whole stadium behind him in less than a minute into a promo is worthy of recognition. Its like saying when Man Kind won the WWF title that everything didn't change, but it did change. Bryan being the new face of WWE is changing things.

An if the verbal garbage that Cena spews is better than Bryan's promos then something is seriously wrong in the world.

Okay...now I know you're clearly trolling.

So because I disagree with your propaganda I'm a troll? I think you are at wits end because I've bested you. You have yet to prove Daniel Bryan having any assets outside of his in ring ability. And that brings me back to the point of this tread. Sure a lot of these guys have great in ring prowess like Bryan, Ambrose, and Rollins. But none of them have the charisma to be the next Rock or CM Punk.

But that is my point, the arena doesn't erupt because of what Bryan does or say, they are caught up in the hype. Guys like CM Punk, Triple H, or The Rock could take a dead crowd and rile it up. Bryan can't, because he lacks the charisma. Which is fine. But to claim he is some megastar is illogical in my opinion.

Don't procreate, I srsly fear for the next gen, you're talking yourself into a circle an I'm not about to be a part of that circle jerk.

...Cena...vocally captivating? You can't be serious. The guy is boring...and this him doing the same promo he does everytime he gets on the mic.

You've done no such thing, sport. It's sweet that you keep making that assertion, but the reality is that you've been demonstrably proven wrong so many times that it's laughable that you assume you're winning anything.

Shifting the goal posts again, are we...Before it was "he's a technical wizard with no skills." But that's besides the point, because the ACTUAL topic of discussion was whether Bryan was over or not...And he is. And I've demonstrably shown that he is. His passable mic skills, professional behavior, passion for the business, and in-ring prowess are red herrings...

And that brings me back to the point of this tread.

Which one...you've tried to change it so many times now...

Rock and Punk aren't the ******** measuring stick, you idiot. They're two of the top guys in WWE history. It's like saying "well, that college QB can throw a football pretty well, but he's not Peyton Manning." And even then, you have no idea how big these guys will become...and considering how little you actually know about wrestling (which is demonstrable from this ******** conversation alone), your opinion on the matter means very ******** little.

Because you guys are treating my opinion like it's a scientific fact.

I don't care if you guys think Daniel Bryan and all these other indy sweethearts are the next wrestling messiahs. That's fine. I was saying that I don't see it and supported why I don't see it. I have yet to be presented with evidence that makes me reconsider my opinion.

I cannot eye roll hard enough at this, are you....I can't even think of what his username is anymore but you're trolling technique is so damn similar, but that's like saying stupid is stupid is stupid.

That's the point. You can't claim someone is a charismatic megastar then say "Yeah but they aren't as good as the icons because they are special."

That isn't what I'm saying. I'm saying he's not as good as the top stars NOW, but you can't say where he'll end up IN THE FUTURE.

Quote:
You are right, Daniel Bryan isn't special.

Again, that's not what I said. In fact, I said he's talented. Is he AS TALENTED as Austin or Rock? In the ring, he's better, on the mic not so much. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. But is it fair to compare Bryan's subpar mic skills with someone like the Rock? ******** no.

Quote:
So why does everyone pretend like he is?

We aren't. You're looking at some of the top guys in the business and expecting Bryan to be exactly like them....which is actually a slap in the face to those guys. However, in terms of in-ring ability, there are very few who are even close to Bryan's level...and in that regard, he is special.

Quote:
Because you guys are treating my opinion like it's a scientific fact.

No....we're taking the things that you are SAYING are facts and showing why they're wrong. You saying that Bryan isn't over is a fact. The fact that he IS over shows that you are wrong.

Bottom line is that Bryan is a flash in the pan.

Yes. Daniel Bryan, who was involved in the Smackdown main event back in 2012, was part of the biggest tag-team in 2013, has had a feud with Orton since June 2013 (which grew into Daniel Bryan vs. The Authority since since August), helped the Wyatt family become major players in the WWE and was placed in the WM main event to appease the very angry social media response for his lack of being in the Royal Rumble. Yes. A man who has been part of major storylines and PPVs since 2012 and HAS BEEN THE MAJOR FOCUS OF THE WWE STORYLINE FOR 10 MONTHS.... IS A FLASH IN THE PAN
