Elric
Elric sighed, glad to be back in Haven. He had decided to stay here with Mayumi and Allister, and assumed Vesper had decided to the same, as the human had briefly went shopping for stuff to put into his room. He had a unpleasant memory of this place, but he enjoyed the company of his group more than the pain from that. Getting out of town did clear his head. Speaking of which, Elric had remained civil concerning Sphalerite for both Cerelia and her parent's sakes. Cerelia didn't tell them the truth, and even if she did, he would have still remained civil and not speak what he thought of the elf. He had also kept his red eye close the majority of the time, though her parents likely figured out what he was upon arriving or shortly afterwards.
To Cerelia, when she had asked, he only mentioned a bit about his life before his banishment from his home, and the banishment itself. Vesper had gone to return the horses, and frankly he didn't know that Vesper could even handle horses so well.
He sighed again looking at the place that Allister had mentioned. It was rather...small...to say the least, though the angel hybrid did mention that the place was bigger on the inside. The boy also said that Mayumi was still at the place, so she should be able to let him inside. He didn't have to even knock before the half dragon had opened the door and smiled at him, giving him a welcome back and letting him in. That trip was long, and he was now feeling sore and tired. He questioned how Vesper was able to handle stuff like this on a regular bases. Well, Vesper did grow up in a mercenary guild, according to him anyway, so it was likely that he was just plain use to having to travel like this.
Ah, the place was bigger on the inside, nice and roomy too. Home...Elric slightly smiled at that thought. He hasn't had a home since he was ten, and now he finally had a place to call one again. Granted it was with Vesper, Allister, and Mayumi, but frankly, he probably wouldn't have it any other way now. Those three were like family to him. Not related by blood but...at this point it didn't matter. They were the people he could turn too, the people that would accept him no matter what. He sighed, and went to his room, flopping on the bed and falling asleep shortly afterwards.
Vesper
Vesper wasn't, he never did get use to traveling like they did, but sleeping in a nice warm bed after it all was usually worth it. Occasionally it wasn't, but usually it was due to an ungrateful client who swindled out of paying him, which fortunately wasn't often. He signed, buying one last trinket to put into his room before heading towards the house.
He missed his old home occasionally, and were it not for some circumstances. He rarely talked about it when Allister and Mayumi, since they never bothered to ask. Cerelia, however, had asked about it, so he ended up talking a bit about it. He didn't mention much about before he was adopted by the guild leader of the Bloodbane Mercenaries, and god forbid he tell anyone other than Elric on why he left. No one was in the need to know on why he left, and he would prefer if it was kept that way.
He sighed again, traveling to where Allister said the house was. Was that...oh the Emporium, Cerelia had probably been here a while. The house being somewhat near to the Emporium didn't surprise him honestly, considering the relation Vaalence had with Mayumi. He glanced briefly into the Emporium before looking forward again and... He raised one of his eyebrows. Who...was that girl sitting on the bench? Probably nobility, based on her outfit, but she looked so...Vesper shook his head. No, no getting attracted to nobility. Bad things usually happened if a mercenary like him got attracted to one. Then again, both nobility and royalty usually ended up more trouble than it was worth for him. A lot more trouble on the royalty part...He sighed, and continued on his way...only to epically trip and fall flat on his face right in front of girl. He just proved his own point about nobility and trouble in a matter of 30 seconds flat, and ended up royally embarrassing himself with now a bloody nose.
Jared
Meanwhile, Jared was happily dragging both Ari and Sirius to the bar, Ari so he could get a taste of what commoners drink and Sirius because Sirius decided that leaving Ari alone with Jared was a bad idea waiting to happen. The older man usually meant well, but he occasionally was the worst bodyguard ever. The Dragon Tempest of the guild was the better bodyguard of the two, and the Dragon King himself would sometimes questions how the other mercenary did not end up like Jared. Jared himself didn't know, but that didn't matter.
"You sure about this Jared?" the younger human asked.
"I mean, we are leaving my sister alone at the inn." The older human male glanced back at the younger. "She knows not to answer the door unless it's one of us, and Mr. Dragon King here has a few alert and trap spells around her room in case anyone tries to get in anyway." he said, receiving a glare from the dragon.
"You really are one of the worst bodyguards ever at times..." the dragon said, shaking his head. "That's why you are here isn't it?" Jared said, entering The Drunken Wench with the other two, and picking a table somewhat close to the corner that a strange looking man was in. Ah well, Sirius would have room to stretch his wings a bit, though Sirius didn't seem keen on the idea.
"Lighten up Sirius, this town is full of all sorts of creatures, I highly doubt they are going to do much to do." he said, trying to get the dragon to at least take off the cloak.
"I am also a fire dragon Jared." he said.
"Honestly if it wasn't for the wings you would be mistaken for a reptilian." Ari said, receiving a glare from the dragon.
"Don't encourage him." He said, with Ari just lightly chuckling. "Sirius you also know magic other than fire, so it should be fine." Jared said. The dragon sighed, somewhat defeated. It couldn't hurt for a bit, and with that, undid the clasp on his cloak, and removed the hood to let it fall onto the chair he was sitting in. He received a few looks due to it, but whatever. Protecting the King of Esclair was much more important.
Jared just smiled. "There we go." He said. "I take it something strong?" He asked the dragon, receiving only a grunt. "And your highness, hm...You only drunk wine and champagne at the castle right?" he asked, receiving a nod. "Well then, ale it is!" The younger boy blinked, while the dragon facepalmed.
"That's you and your son Jared." He said.
"Though I'm starting to understand where that boy got his drinking habits from." Jared just chuckled, and went to get the drinks. Sirius took a look around the bar, before seeing an interesting creature. Was that...it couldn't be...daotians were said to have been exterminated. Not that his people had anything to do with it, Esclair was just outside the area of influence from the people that ran this continent. Or so he heard anyway.
