I enjoy/like green (apple) flavor candies, and I also enjoy the green ketchup they used to make when I was a kid.(It doesn't taste different, its just for coloring.) heart

Also I enjoy McDonald's Shamrock shake.

If you love new foods and recipes you should add me and talk to me. I went to Basic training for Culinary Arts and I also went to Advanced Pastry and Bakery. I made so many yummy foods and things I would love to share with you <3

These are just a few...

Favorite Green Drinks:

-Green Monster Slushie

- Honey Parfait ontop of Apple Green Jelly

- Vanilla Mint Latte

- Strawberry Mint Lemonade in a mason jar

- Mint, Lemon, Lime Water

Favorite Green Foods:

-Milk Chocolate Pockey with Green Mint

- Wasbi Peas [I like to put them in Cheese flavored Munchies]

-Fresh Green Beans [I put them in a pan to go into the oven with two table spoons of butter. I let them cook till done which is about 10-15 mins. Half way done I give them a stir. I take them out and stir them around in the butter then drain the butter out. I make up a mustard sauce and pour over them and bake them again for 3 mins. Then I plate them on a square plate to make it look fancy.]

- Green Mint Fudge

Things I eat on St. Patrick's Day:

- Lucky Charms with Green Colored Milk [I have that for breakfast every St. Patrick's Day]

- Cheesecake with Green four leaf clover in the middle [Basically its the normal cheesecake and I put 2-3 drops of green food dye in and take a tooth pick to make it into a four leaf clover]

- Green Eggs and Ham

- Meat Pie [It's not green but I only eat it on this day]

- Sweet Buns with Green Sugar Sprinkled ontop

- Green Jello Cut out into Shamrocks

I like a lot of green foods. Hard to pick only one.
I'll say asparagus.

And I don't a traditional dish but I do enjoy the classic corned beef / boiled potatoes / cabbage meal. At least traditional here in the states. Not sure if that's a real tradition in Ireland or not.
It's actually kind of a poor person's meal but I still enjoy it. smile

My favorite green food would have to be pesto. I don't care what you put it on, I think it's delicious. Favorite green drink would be Lime cordial. smile

Another recipe I'd like to share is "Green Humus Dip"

All you need is:

1 can of Garbanzo beans
1 c of frozen peas or 1 pitted avacado
1-2 cloves of fresh garlic
olive oil
Juice from 1 lime
Salt & Pepper to taste

*Optional- cumin, olives, and other favorite humus add-ins.

Blend (in a blender or food processor) all the ingredients together; add olive oil until it reaches the desired consistency. Enjoy with fresh veggies, pita chips or cracks, or in sandwiches and wraps.
