for shounen, i'd recommend psycho pass. that's pretty good and i think it's from the people behind katekyo hitman reborn. idk, a lot of shounen anime seem hella generic with this idea of being best buds and eradicating evil. i'm more of a mech kinda guy.

also, for shoujo, just check out tonari no kaibutsu-kun. its funny and p nice.
