Ella White
Ella thanked the girl when she handed her the drink. She looked at the red liquid in the glass and tried not to dwell on how much it reminded her of blood. Blood... Her mind went back to her home and she saw her father blood pooling around his limp body and she sat in the boat beside him, her body shaking and the fish hook gleaming red. She watched as her fathers' life blood left his body and began filling the boat. As she had her dark flashback her skin turned ghostly pale and she had started to shake slightly. Then as suddenly as the flashback came it went. Her shaking stopped but her face still lacked color. She took the drink and throwing back her head she drank it all in one swig. The cool liquid ran over her tongue and it was as the lady said, sugary, but there was a slight burn as she let it slide down her throat. That must be the alcohol part of it She mused and with a smile she looked at the empty glass and sat it over on the bar and then walked to the stick rack and grabbed her the lightest stick, a 9 ounce. She then turned to the lady and gave her an amused look. "Hopefully you will be a real challenge, most of the people around here couldn't make a ball in the hole if their life depended on it." With that comment in the air she took the chalk and began chalking her stick and when the lady had the table set up she walked over to the front of the table. She took her stick and balanced it in her hand and concentrated on the cue ball, she aimed near the center but slightly to the right. She drew in a breath and finished calculating her move and upon exhaling she hit the cue with her stick. The white ball spun and hit the triangle of balls causing the 12 ball-striped to fall into a hole and another striped ball to fall in. She then looked at the lady and looked a little flustered. "I almost forgot to introduce myself! I'm Ella , a pleasure to make your acquaintance." With that she took her next move and did not get another ball in but instead set one of her balls up for an easy shot her next turn. "And it's your move."
