Favorite folk punk acts? I'm always looking for new bands in this genre. Currently listening to Ramshackle Glory, Andrew Jackson Jihad, and Rosa, among others.

I have been listening to the Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains side of Love Songs for the Apocalypse A LOT recently. Also check out the Goddamn Gallows. not purely folk, but they have the right gutterbilly bluesy stomp.

I love AJJ. I heard that he worked/works for a suicide hotline and that where he gets his inspiration.

You should check out Harley Poe. I'm pretty sure there Folk Punk. Another band is johnny hobo and the freight trains.
