- There was something about the Hamptons that brought the inner child out of the blonde. Suddenly her suitcase was being filled dresses and shorts rather than the usual pant suits and adult-like blouses. This trip brought back so many feelings that Julie didn’t want to remember. Life was something different now considering her future was always on the line. There was no longer time to be a naïve little girl, this summer would be spent reading and practicing for the bar exam. Occasionally a reading session could be on the beautiful beaches but only if she could promise herself no distractions. The thought of this vacation was bitter sweet to Julia, of course the beach and scenery was beautiful but she knew she wasn’t going to be able to enjoy one bit of it. If it made her mother happy though she would tag along and join them on this little family vacation of theirs. Julia made no promises she’d be seen around much though.
TIME SKIP
When the Thomas family arrived at the Hamptons a crowd of people were already there to welcome them. The staff waved with bright smiles welcoming the family in, but along with them several families apart of their summer vacation group were bearing gifts as well. Taking this as an opportunity to run Julia excused herself from petty conversation talk and made her way up to the room. Shortly after a man brought her luggage up and excused himself, he was a butler she assumed. Julia began to unpack, it only took 10 minutes since she had neatly organized her clothing, toiletries, and etc in the luggage. Once the task was finished though the blonde took out a practice exam book and went straight to her studying. Julia wasn’t much of a socialite type, all women wanted was for her to go on a date with their incredibly stupid sons. She believed in more than being a trophy wife, which is why she kept her distance from the usual crowd.
After a while of studying Julia looked outside her window and saw how beautiful the view was. She’d been studying for a while now and it was vacation so the blonde awarded herself a little stroll. Before leaving Julia changed into a new silhouette and then excused herself from the social gathering which had still been going on downstairs.
She began walking down the road soaking in the fresh air and beautiful scenery. Moments like these reminded her of life before all the stress about her future began. Her parents had never pressured her to do this but something in her just wanted to make a difference. Julia went along with this feeling and since then her main priorities are to study and make a good living for her family. At times she’d look at the other girls and find herself jealous of how happy they were with their boyfriends enjoying the beach and etc but she got over it.
Those girls had their lives set out for them, eventually they’d marry that boy and would never have to lift a finger but she didn’t like that lifestyle. It’d be nice to live lavishly but working to make her own living would make her feel even better.
When Julia got out of her trance she realized she had wandered off to an unfamiliar place. There was no sign of living beings anywhere around. She began to worry realizing she was lost with no idea how to get back to her house. Realizing her phone was also at home the female began to panic trying to rethink her steps. Eventually she got lost even more and was beginning to walk towards the only house in front of her for help. When she reached the porch she realized it was abandoned. Julia walked inside and began snooping around for water or something that could be useful to her.
