"Uh..."
Dylan looked to Wyndom in hopes of an idea. The young swordsman wasn't confident that he could hold his breath for the entirety of the trip. There was no telling how long it would take to get to the other side anyway. "Is there another option?"

Dylan couldn't help but wonder if this cavern would be the death of him. If he stayed he'd probably have to fight Angels in closed quarters. If he went into the water he'd no doubt drown! When it got down to it he had a better chance of surviving a fight.

"I was going for general, but information has always been my thing, spasibo (thank you)." The spy said teasingly, and got to a particularly thick knot at the base of her neck. He started to work on it as she questioned his appearance, and offered him some tea.

"Spasibo, no net (Thanks, but no.). However do feel free to brew yourself some. I feel tension beyond my handiwork is needed for you, ved'ma." He grew a Cheshire smile, that she couldn't see, and leaned forward a bit again to softly rest his chin on her left shoulder, while continuing her stress relief. "Unless that was part reason for plamya svechi being here? Weren't you an item at one point? Rekindling a flame mayhaps?" He practically purred the words teasingly. before she could reply by threat, reply, or attack, he pushed down on the knot he was working on, and freed it up. Pulling his face from the danger zone, he began working his way into the softened muscles, giving them a deep and thorough rub.

"In answer to your question, you will find out when I feel you are ready. By these shoulders, it may be after night's rest. Until then, try to relax Kora. It sounds like we'll be on the move soon enough, no need to rush things." Frizzy stated sagely. Much like the half of his species, he was one to take most things in slow strides, until the point needed. He tended to be the voice of calming among the higher ups, and their stressful ways. Not to mention mediator between them. While no where near administrative material, his world traveled ways tended to benefit stressful situations. A relaxed mind and body tended to process problems better.

The light show inside the barrier began to increase, indicating the regeneration was nearing an end. Something Frizzy noticed easily, and added to his research, he had a very well educated guess at the Djinn's abilities.

"Ooo chaa!!"
If Frizzy's chin hadn't been on her shoulder, the blonde sorceress would have shot away from his ministrations as he freed the knot in her back.
That had hurt.
As it was though, the kettle bounced off the floor before she had it back on it's way to the sink.
Blinking away spots from her eyes she proceeded to use her magic to turn the tap on, fill the kettle, cross it back to its heating base and flick it on.

Aware that he'd asked her about her relationship with Dirge, her eyes flicked to his regeneration process.
"I personally wouldn't have called us an item as such Frizzy… You know what I'm like… I don't like being… attached."
Kora had never been one for solid relationships. The last time she'd done one of those was with a centaur named Artemis, and that had ended badly… Releasing a demon and practically obliterating their school badly.
"He was pissed off with me anyway. I may have said some things… You know what djinn's are like with their words are everything slogan."
Reaching up slightly she made claw shapes with her fingers and then wiggled them before dropping her arms back by her sides.

With a sigh she leaned further back towards Frizzy despite the odd twinge of pain she'd feel, she closed her eyes and tilted her head back.
"You've been consulting your crystal ball again haven't you?"
She had her doubts that Sabriel had contacted anyone other than her with the way she'd sounded over the mirror. But at the same time, it was a long standing joke between her and Frizzy that he had a crystal ball that he lugged around with him on his top secret missions that kept him in the know about whatever she was doing.
Therefore, it wouldn't have surprised her that he'd somehow found out about her contact with their boss.

The howling noise, which turned out to be the wind rushing over the opening that they climbed through, would fade away as they continued upwards. They started at the topmost point of the Crypt, and had fallen all the way to the bottom, almost exiting out altogether. Now it seemed they were finally making headway into the depths of this place. And of course, where secrets lay so did traps!

An invisible wire lay across the path, waiting to snag the unsuspecting foot of whoever trespassed, this being Lyrical as she was in the lead. She might not even notice her foot hit the wire as it gave way beneath her stride quite easily. She would definitely hear the sudden thud up ahead, followed by a strange grinding noise. It grew closer and closer, but it was too dark to make out what it was. The tunnel began to quiver slightly as the grinding noise approached faster and faster. A click echoed in the darkness as suddenly a massive display of light overwhelmed the entire passageway! The grinding was nearly upon them, but the sudden change from dark to light would probably blind the two momentarily so they couldn't see the giant boulder barreling towards them! It had been activated by the wire, and as it rolled further down the tunnel it rolled over a pressure plate which activated the lights to blind Lyrical and Eijii.

They now had moments before the giant rock rolled right into them, crushing them beneath it's mighty weight!
Now lyric was blinded

now blinded as she took a deep breath in and exhaled as she then did what she thout was turning around and ran in the opposite direction as she attempted to use her ears to navigate her way around.
((OOC: Sorry for not being on for while, was busy at work and other projects.))

Eiji followed her, and it seemed like time was running out for them to out run this boulder. Eiji stopped and stared back at the boulder and pulled out his katana and held it up right in front of him. Glaring silently in the dark hallway as the only sound of gravel and stone grinding against each other was present. Eiji closed his eyes and began to focus his energy, while this was no smart of him, it was the only resort to use to save him and Lyrical.

As his mind became clear with memories of time with his grandparents and sister, to his moments with Lyrical, to even his accomplishments. His katana began to glow a bright blue as a aura surrounded the blade and eventually around Eiji. "My journey will not end by some rock, I made my promise to finding my bother, and to helping Lyrical... BRING IT ON ROCK!!!!" He said, gripping the straps of his katana and waiting for the boulder to be in position. Once in position Eiji Swipes his katana at the boulder with all his might and courage.

"And where would I hide such a chudesnyy (wondrous) item Kora?" Frizzy queried playfully, into the sorceress's left ear, as she leaned back against him. As this was asked, his magic hands worked their way down to her upper back, and his fingers slightly dug into the soft flesh under her arms. "If you have failed to notice, what I tend to wear leaves little to hide." The neko chuckled slightly, the joke being he always somehow hid something in his skin tight cat suits. His ears perked up on his head, aiming themselves toward the barrier. Frizzy's extra sensitive perceptions picked up in the movement inside. The Djinn was about to free itself. So while they had a quiet moment, he decided to impart a bit of tantalizing information upon his adopted sister.

Making sure his voice was whispered, and as close to her ear as possible without being intimate he spoke. "Znaniye yest' sila (Knowledge is power), thus I partake to you this: An Efreet can grant one single wish in it's lifetime. Restriction free. Nuzhno prosto pravil'nyye slova (One simply needs the right words)." After relaying that he softly rubbed his right cheek against her left once, and watched the barrier begin to crack. Frizzy knew that Kora had a much harder time with full sentences in his dialect, and intended the last part to be enigmatic.

* * * *

Dirge's arm and side had finally rebuilt themselves, his body once again whole. With one long inhale, the Efreet sucked in all the cinderous smoke inside his magical cage. While not pleased at his dear Kora's actions, he wasn't one to be a rude guest when not intending. And a cloud smoke would certainly set off the fire alarm system. The last thing he needed to hear was Kora's bitching him out for drenching the entire apartment, or more regeneration.

After the grey cloud was gone, Dirge stood to his full height, and let out a shimmering breath. Extending his power, the thin barrier stretched, and cracks along the glass-like barrier emerged. In one quick push, the barrier shattered, dissolving into magical motes of dust. Quickly cracking his neck on both sides, the elemental turned around to see an unmasked, cat eared man fondling and resting his face against dear Kora. Biting back the immediate surge of wrath, Dirge simply glared at the man in question. Vermilion eyes meeting deep violet, to which the cat man grew a Cheshire smile.

"Dear Kora, that was quite painful. Please, a simple no would suffice the next time." Dirge broke the stare off first, feeling his anger at the obviously over familiar man rising. Turning his attention to Ms. Stern, after a slow blink. "I haven't had the pleasure of meeting your friend, may I know him?" Digging his hands in his jacket pockets, he did his very best to avoid looking at the obviously fishing Neko.

"Oh I don't know, you're always full of surprises so I'm sure you could find somewhere to hide one. You know what they say about men and-"
Kora had been about to make a crude joke when her friend's fingers hit a tender spot, resulting in her cursing colorfully.
Even in high school her knowledge of expletives had been broad, but after being recruited to the Megalith, she'd discovered that there was a whole vocabulary out there that would have made even the most hardened of sailors blush.
The result was her picking up on said vocabulary very fast.

Biting her tongue at the feeling of her energy around Dirge beginning to fracture she stopped and inclined her head.
Frizzy's breath tickled at her ear, making a smile play across her lips before it morphed into a frown with her eyebrows knitting together.
She was about to step away from him and ask what on earth he meant when her barrier around Dirge finally shattered.
The result was in her stepping closer to Frizzy pushing them both back towards the counter.

Cringing as the newly regenerated Efreet clicked his neck, she put her right thumb to her mouth and chewed on its nail nervously.
She wasn't sure what kind of mood he'd be in and she wasn't entirely in the mood to be dodging fire balls.
Realizing that he wasn't about to bite her head off, the left hand corner of her mouth tugged upwards in relief.
Instead of opening her mouth and introducing Frizzy though, all that managed to escape her lips was a weak "heyink" noise.

So it began though.
The epic battle of horses.
The Efreet vs. The Neko.
Who's would be bigger?
Her money was admittedly on the homeless guy down the street's horse; since he was the one most likely to benefit from scavenging through the ruins of what was going to be left of her apartment once the two of them were done.

"I am here you know, plamya svechi (candle flame)? And I would certainly love to make acquaintance, Kot v sapogakh, or Puss in Boots to the unversed in my home tongue." Frizzy, the epitome of curiosity killed the cat, wanted to see just how much of an item the Efreet felt his lovely coworker was with him. His curving grin, curved just a bit more, as Frizzy snaked his arms around the woman's midsection and waist, pulling her against him, and leaning his head against hers. His violet eyes sank to half lid, and he practically purred against her, Kora could even feel the slight rubble in his chest against her back. Dirge's attempt at civility cracked a bit right there, his eyes and hands gaining a slight glow to them, yet the elemental still held back for several reasons.

"However those close to me call me Frizzy." Frizzy's eyes shined maliciously at the Djinn's subtle spike in possessiveness. If the informant was good at anything in his diverse repertoire, it was reading subtle body language like a large print book. "And you plamya svechi, are Dirge of the Red Wind, Djinn of the Red Sapphire Ring. Records of your existence date to well near twelve hundred years ago. Zaklyuchennyy (Imprisoned) by magi (mages {Real Translation}), and former szhatiye (squeeze) of dear Kora here. O, ya khorosho tebya znayu (Oh, I know you well)." The soft glow in Dirge's features suddenly erupted into obviousness, at the assassin's use of the Djinn's affectionate suffix to Kora. His hair took the form of living flame, and Dirge's hands clenched tightly in his pockets, orange glow emanating from the deep black recesses.

"Vy smeyete izdevat'sya nado mnoy, koshachiy. (Dare you to mock me, feline.)" Dirge said in a barely restrained, but fluent Russian dialect. His smoldering eyes narrowed dangerously at the slightly pawing Nekomata. Hearing such a well spoken version of his native language perked Frizzy's ears, and widened his drooped eyes by a small margin. Oh this was going to be so much fun.

"Mozhet byt', ya delayu, i chto iz etogo, plamya svechi? (Maybe I do, what of it, candle flame?)" Frizzy challenged Dirge, who ripped his hands free of his jacket, and brought them out in front of him. Flames engulfed his hands and burned brightly before him.

What happened in that very brief time frame, was nothing short of ninja. It all started with Megalith's top infiltrators eyes flying open, revealing violet cat's eyes. As Dirge was releasing his hands from their confines, Frizzy gently, but quickly, moved Kora to the right of where they were standing, before lunge jumping forward. He landed on the counter, with the large window to the dining room, and pulled his legs forward under him. This shot him leg first slipping through the window-less opening, as right hand grabbed the kettle from the stove top. At the moment Dirge had his hands up and on fire, Frizzy wrapped his spread legs around his stomach and back, sealing himself against the Efreet. As Dirge's eyes widened, and he stumbled back a bit, Frizzy thrust the kettle forward toward his target's face. The kettle stopped a few inches from the Djinn's face in Frizzy's tight grip, the water inside sloshing around just a bit, but not spilling.

It took Dirge a moment to catch his balance, but he was literally face to face with the nekomata, who hand his left arm around the back of Dirge's neck, holding him in place, along with his legs wrapped around his midsection. Wide red eyes met cat's eyes and a menacingly toothy grin, and Dirge's expression faltered into shock. He was totally outmaneuvered, and at the mercy of this thin and small cat man.

"Dim your flame, Efreet. From this distance I can end you, make no mistake." Frizzy made sure to speak plain English for this part, considering it was also for Kora's benefit. Unseen to Dirge Frizzy's tail snaked its way into the left coat pocket. "You have been twice de-powered Djinn, once for entering this threshold uninvited, and again without a master of your vessel." Frizzy threatened in a voice that was low, deathly serious, and down right disturbing for someone like Frizzy. This was Megalith's Puss in Boots, master assassin, infiltration expert, and information specialist. Suddenly Frizzy's tail flicked free of Dirge's coat pocket, and the Efreet's eyes shot further open in sudden realization. Frizzy flashed the Red Sapphire Ring toward Kora behind him, which was wrapping in his thin tail, and then brought it around for Dirge to see.

"Which I now possess. So let us play nice, ponimayete (understand)?" Frizzy pulled his face away from Dirge's still horrified face, and the neko returned to a calm smiling expression. He unwrapped his legs from the taller man's waist, and landed softly on the floor. He patted Dirge's chest friendly with his left hand, before turning and putting the kettle back through the window, and onto the stove.

Dirge's fire died right then and there. His ring had been taken, in the hands of this tiny cat. As inconceivable at it was, part of him couldn't help but be amazed. Dirge couldn't form any words, and simply slumped backward, catching the table, and leaning against it, defeated. He hung his head in shame.

"Let's be civil and have a nice chat, shall we?" Frizzy simply smiled as if the last minuted didn't happen, and turned back to his sister. "So what kinds of snacks do you have, sister?" The cat man asked, as he stepped back into the kitchen, his tail dropping the ring into his right hand. He walked to the fridge and opened it casually, perusing the contents.

Kora's quirky little grin didn't fade as she didn't need any prompting on Frizzy's part to play along with his teasing of Dirge.
She rested her hands over the top of his and leaned comfortably against him.
Frizzy had been the Megalith Member assigned to show Kora around on her first day with the Organization and they'd been close ever since.
It came as no surprise then, that pretending to be an item was a tactic that worked well for the pair even though the only history between them was their very close platonic friendship.

It wasn't a shock for the blonde to hear her purple-eyed friend spouting information about the other man.
She was used to Frizzy doing his homework about people.
There was a reason why he was their information specialist, just like she was their illusion specialist.
On the other hand, Dirge's reaction was a bit of an eyebrow raiser as proven by the lifting of one of her eyebrows as she watched him becoming the Human Torch again.
"Oi. Mind the decor!"
Obviously, she'd found her voice again, but she wasn't sure she'd been heard over the shots of Russian fired between the two males.

Next thing she knew she was curled in a ball on the floor with her back against the cupboards behind her and her arms around her knees watching as Frizzy waved her poor kettle in Dirge's face making the water in it slosh about audibly.
Oh good. She wasn't going to have to deal with the fire brigade… Or Sabriel for that matter since the building was owned by the Megalith. Not so good for the homeless guy down the street though. He might want to find somewhere else to scavenge.

Kora's cheeks became tinged a pale shade of pink when Frizzy admitted to knowing about the death of Dirge's current master.
She was to blame for him knowing that piece of information.
His change in tone unnerved her slightly though. While she'd heard it before, she just wasn't used to hearing it on a regular basis.
And quite frankly, she preferred the more upbeat Frizzy that she was accustomed to.
Seeing Dirge's ring on the end of his tail though, made her grey eyes widen in surprise. She hadn't known that the Efreet was carrying that around with him!
It was just as astonishing then to see how quickly the djinn became quite meek at the sight of it in the neko's paws.

Remaining balled up on the floor she looked up at Frizzy, with her arms still wrapped around her knees.
"Ummm…."
Glancing around her kitchen she did a quick mental rundown of what she currently had in stock in the way of groceries.
It wasn't a long list.
In fact, it would shock the neck to see that her normally well stocked fridge was unnaturally bare.
"… I haven't really done the shopping thing recently…. I think there's some potato chips in the cupboard…. I think… Don't quote me on that."

The bravery of Eiji would not go unrewarded, as the boulder rolled down the slope, only to come in contact with the fiery aura of Eiji's courage. A pulse raced across the room as the two made contact, the boulder stopping in its tracks. It shuddered and cracked, the power of the swing halting its advancement. A large chunk of the boulder had been destroyed, and with it the ability to continue rolling down the hill, however the boulder still remained blocking their path. They would need to continue slashing it apart before they could continue on.

While Wyndom sympathized with Dylan, he didn't feel like taking any more time than they already had to explain, so with a cheerful grin he'd reply, "Nope!" and half shove half tackle the poor swordsman down the cold ice slide into the water. Wyndom would be right alongside Dylan during their rather uneventful ride, and it was a shallow enough slope that Wyndom had time to explain further. "I can make a bubble of air around us for David to maneuver, all you gotta do is sit back and enjoy the scenery~"

That being said, the two would hit the water, although no splashing sound would be made, and their clothes would still be dry as they had actually fallen into Wyndom's bubble of air at the bottom of the slide, encasing them in a rather large bubble that would slowly get smaller over time as they inhaled the oxygen. For now the top of the bubble would remain open to the caverns air to keep it fresh, but once they submerged it would be sealed off for the remainder of the journey. Touching the surface would reveal that it was extremely solid, like glass, however if Dylan decided to swing his katana around he would find himself wet very quickly. Even still, Wyndom continued to consider himself lucky that he got paired up with David, whose affinity for water was proving to be useful time after time again in this little escapade. The two were turning out to be a rather good team, boosting each others abilities.

upon hearing the blade hit the rock as it rolled down the hill and broke a little bit now turning around she took out her bow and attempted to nock her arrow on the bow as she summoned up the energy she had to locate the bolders weakspot before shooting it.
Eiji heard the arrow's whisper as he stepped aside out of the way. He then put his Katana away just as his aura faded. *"Yooww that smarts"* He thought as staggering to his feet. *"Could be what my grandfather meant by focusing on protecting people I care about, and my strength can be rewarded?"* Continuing in thought, looking back at Lyrical. Eiji wiped the sweat from his forehead as he made his approach to Lyrical.
