"Hey did you hear?"- - - XXX Lately in Nakayama, Japan, civilians have been found outside of an old abandoned hospital ( The old Nakayama Asylum ) left completely unresponsive and unconscious. The victims are left in a catatonic state, and seem to stay that way with nobody waking from their unconscious slumber. A rumor has been spreading about the Asylum saying that the place is so haunted, entering there at midnight scares anyone who enters around midnight to the point that they fall unconscious, unable to ever wake up from their nightmare again.

Mornings were never Kei's favorite time of day, and she doubted that anyone truly liked them. So it was no surprise that the girl stubbornly ignored her alarm for a few moments when it went off. The incessant shrill ringing noise only lasted for maybe five minutes before Kei rolled off of her bed and got up to shut it off. She hated the fact that she chose such an annoying alarm, but it did its job to well for her to even think of getting rid of it.
With a stretch and a yawn, Kei proceeded to get ready for the first day of the new school year. If Kei were to be honest, she had mixed feelings about going back to school. On one hand, she'd be able to play volleyball with other people again, on the other, she'd have to deal with dumb rumors about her and Shou-chan being a thing again. Kei gave one last adjustment to her uniform skirt and her tie, before she slipped on her cardigan and swiped her Vita and headphones off of her dresser. She shoved the device in her cardigan pocket, grabbed her bag and left her room to go get breakfast.
"In other news, another person who has gone missing has shown up near the old Nakayama Asylum. Like previous missing people, they had also shown up in a unresponsive state. The police stand by earlier statements that the asylum has nothing to do with the states people are found in."
The news report blared from the tv in the living room as Kei exited her room to make way to the kitchen."Morning," she greeted her mother, who was watching the news with a frown on her face. Her mother looked away from the tv and gave her a small smile and gestured to the untouched plate on the table. From the empty and unset seat at the head of the table, Kei was able to guess that her dad was called in early to the hospital.Though she was a little upset that she hadn't seen her father lately, Kei just ate her breakfast in silence. Once she finished, she cleaned up her plate and informed her mother that she was heading out.
The walk to Ikaruga was nothing new or exciting to Kei, as she was blocking everything out with her headphones. As per usual, the new 2nd year was playing a rhythm game and ignoring everything around her. She tapped the buttons and swiped the screen to the beat of her chosen song without missing a note. She was in the zone. For some strange reason, Kei was able to avoid walking into anyone even though she was concentrating on her Vita.

This guild believes that each member within it's domain is a member of a family, rather than a simple guild. While they follow the laws placed by the Council for all guilds, they also instill a strong belief in freedom in their actions and job decisions, as well as a strong sense of companionship. Their beliefs have won them the hearts of the younger residents of Crystallia. Most older members of society view Dragon's Heart as a guild full of upbeat kids who goof off too much to get important jobs done, though records state otherwise. The origin of the guild's name comes from an age old legend that a Dragon's Heart could grant a wish to whomever ripped it from the dragon's body. XXXDecretum : XXXXX Formed by Yoshinori Himura, former member of the legdendary Aegis Guild. This guild believes that to have peace, there must be order, and laws in place to uphold security in the world. Decretum is a traditional style guild, one that follows the absolute rules placed by the council itself. If any member wishes to take a job, it must be approved by Yoshinori himself. If it is not, and the member still leaves to take on the request, Yoshinori will generally stop them in their tracks and they will receive a punishment. Decretum is often respected by the older members of society, as it follows the traditional rules and laws that govern the Guilds. Though Decretum rarely gets request from younger patrons, as it is ' far too strict ' for the patron's interest. Guild members generally carry out their taken requests, though the requests are often scoped out before-hand to make sure that the requester is following the rules of job submission, and not putting the guild members into unknown and dangerous territory without a warning. The origin of the guild's name comes from an ancient text that translates to ' Order'.
XXXNox Dominia : XXXXX An incredibly dangerous dark guild who's origins are unknown. They often take in illegal mercenaries and cause chaos throughout the country. Their most recent activity has supposedly been in Crystallia, home of the two rival guilds. What they do depends solely upon it's leader, and the members inside. Though they are known for not even allowing their victims to plead for mercy.

XXX►Biography: XXXXXXBorn in the small town of Celesthem, Odette was one of three children in a family that wasn't so well off. Wealth didn't matter to them though, for as long as they were alive and relatively happy, life was okay. Odette and her two sisters were taught from an early age on how to help around the house and hunt for food. Sure, it meant that she and her sisters were a bit more ragged and rough than girls with a well off family, but they didn't care.
XXXXXXThis lifestyle lasted to when she was eight years old, and then everything changed when the fire nation attacked she and her older sister, Jeannine, happened upon an injured man. Jeannine and Odette took pity on the man and brought him home with them. The family nursed him back to health and answered any and all questions that he asked. Once he was healed, they sent him off and told him that they would happily welcome him back into their home.
XXXXXXLife continued on normally, until a little after Odette's ninth birthday when tragedy struck. The town was raided by a dark guild known as Nosferatu. Citizens were slaughtered, buildings burned to the ground, and anything of value was stolen from their owner's cold, dead hands. No one was safe. Celesthem was too small for a local guild, and too far away from a larger city with a guild. Odette could only watch the town fall, as she played dead from her injuries and her family had succumbed to their own wounds. There was one thing that would haunt her from this and shatter her trust; the once injured man that her family had helped was the one leading the raid.
XXXXXXOdette lied there for what seemed like decades before help arrived a little too late. Vorpal Blade, a small guild from the closest town, came and arrested or fought the lingering Nosferatu members. It was over as soon as the small guild came, and the caught Nosferatu member's were sent to the capital to face judgement from the Council. The young girl was found on their search for potential survivors, and she and the handful of survivors were sent to Havencrest for living arrangements and treatment.
XXXXXXIt took Odette a few years to "recover" emotionally, but she just wasn't the same as before. Not wanting anything like this to happen again, she has taken to writing down events from her perspective so future generations can learn from her mistakes. She had also felt safer with people who followed rules, so she joined the Decretum guild to learn how to defend herself.

The morning was off to a... great... start, and by great, Yoshinori really meant horrible boring. Paperwork was really tedious and never seemed to end, but it was something that he had to do everyday. He would rather burn it all and never see it again, but he knew that it would be back on his desk (in triplicate) along with the next days paperwork. It was a death sentence waiting to happen. So here he was, internally crying rivers as he filled out the paperwork while guzzling down coffee to keep him awake through the paperwork. He wasn't even sure if over half was even his, and for some reason it made him want to smack Draconis upside the head. However, Yoshinori squashed that feeling down and just endured the carpal tunnel hell paperwork.
While he slowly worked through three stacks of paperwork, the sounds of guild members waking and starting their days sounded from outside his office. The Decretum guildmaster would have joined him, but then he would avoid coming back to his office to finish the paperwork. A sigh escaped him as he continued on and placed a finished document in the signed pile. At this rate he probably wouldn't be seen by dinner. Plus he was beginning to have a bad feeling about the coming days since talk of a dark guild called Nox Dominia has been surfacing in the town.
It seemed that the feeling wasn't just with Yoshinori, as Draconis had made one of his spontaneous visits and brought up bad vibes. Usually a logical person like Yoshinori would have brushed the man off, but Yoshinori had been a former guildmate, partner and longtime friend of Draconis. If the boisterous man was getting a bad feeling, it was often correct. Yoshinori's own gut feelings just added plausibility to it.
"You're not the only one getting a bad feeling about today," he calmly stated as he placed down his pen and looked up from the paper. Yoshinori slipped off his reading glasses and cleaned them off. "Talk of Nox Dominia has risen quite drastically. Scouting with Takao has shown that there has been an increase in danger for potential missions these past few months." Yoshinori's tone was grim as he gave this information to his friend, "It would not be a big leap to deduce that something might happen today. I just hope that I'm wrong."

XXX► Biography: XXXXXXLet it be known that the twins were born under the greatest conditions, with a loving family and simply became thieves for amusement. Well, that's what they would say when anyone asked them for their origin story. Truthfully their beginning wasn't comfortable, but not downright tragic. Afterall, street kids don't have happy lives.
Akio and Tetsuo were born in the port town of Conio to a brothel prostitute. They weren't immediately found and removed from their mother, so they were able to be raised by their mother. Their mother had been really careful with her client selections, and only chose ones that didn't insist on using her room to keep the twins a secret. This behavior had set off warning bells to the brothel's owner, but with no tangible proof nothing was done about it.
When the boy's were old enough to talk, their mother firmly told them that they were playing a game of hide and seek and that they couldn't be found. The twins eagerly went along with it and had a blast hiding from the other ladies in the building that made strange noises. The plan worked for a while, but when they were five their mother had run into a very persistent client that forced his way into their room. The twins were out in the open, sleeping after a tiring day of hiding. Angry at the reason for his rejection, the client brought up their existence to the owner and a few days later the twins were torn from their mother and thrown to the streets.
In the beginning, the two were usually tired, hungry and sick often. They were lucky to survive the first month on their own. It was sink or swim, and the boys quickly learned the ropes on how to survive: panhandling, pickpocketing and to never ever be left alone with a person giving you looks. They took these lessons to heart, and learned early on that money was the only way to get the needs to survive.
As they grew older, they concluded that the only way to be secure in life was to get a job, so when they were old enough to get one they did. Their walk on the straight an narrow didn't last very long, as pickpocketing had become an ingrained habit to the both of them. At first it started out as an honest mistake, (after all, they didn't need that lady's money as their job as waiters paid decently) but then they started to do it to impolite customers, rowdy customers, and then their boss when he was being a pain. They forgot how much fun it was to pull the wool over a target's eyes. So they continued on stealing while working, until they were caught by a fellow coworker. They were fired and thrown in jail for a bit.
Once they were out, they decided to travel the lands and just do whatever they felt like. The world was at their hands, as long as they outran the authorities. Joining a guild had never been on their to-do lists, but that was forced out of their hands when they ran into an evil loli. They were politely asked to join Nox Dominia... or die. It's easy to see what they chose to do.
XXX► Personality: XXXXXXAkio and Tetsuo may be twins, but that doesn't mean that they are the same person. They have their own qualities as a person, even if from a far they come off as the same. Yes, both are cocky, pushy, greedy money grubbers, but they are totally different. Really.
Akio is a lot more tenacious, crass and haughty than his twin. He's the one who think's he's the greatest thing on the face of the planet, and that the world owes him for his mere existence. He gets straight down to business and hates to beat around the bush. If given the chance, Akio would tell you everything that he dislikes about you and hyperbolize it. If he knows that you're a danger to him, Akio is smart enough to keep his mouth shut. As he is the more obnoxiously vocal one, his actions tend to make people think that his twin is just like him.
Tetsuo, on the other hand, is more eloquent, condescending, and cunning than Akio. Most of their escape plans, cons, and pickpocketing plans are all his doing. On his own, he'd be the one who could be found in a library, but quite honestly he hates libraries because he's too cool to be seen in one. He likes to learn, even if he'll deny it if you caught him and aren't his twin, and is willing to put most of the subjects he learns to use. Though he isn't as antagonizing as his brother, if annoyed enough, he will verbally cut down his offender and delight in their tears. More of a follower than a leader, Tetsuo prefers to take cues on what to say and how to act from Akio.
Though the twins seem attached at the hip most of the time, and one could assume that they're best friends (and they are), they constantly bicker with one another. They insult each other, push the blame on each other, and come to blows often over stupid things. Don't misunderstand, they can be civil, but they just find it so much fun to cause havoc with their fights. When left alone and no one is around, both will just relax and vent about dumb things they've seen their guildmates do.

The day was beautiful. The sun was shining, the sky was a brilliant blue, and the crisp early autumn air made everything perfect. Sadly, it was kind of lost on the twins, for they were more concerned with other things. By other things, they meant stealing. It wasn't like anyone noticed their little crime spree, but that's what they were going for. The two were casually walking though the marketplace, pocketing any and all things that were of value when no one paid attention. Sometimes they'd even stop and chat to some of the towns people to keep from looking suspicious. It was their usual modus operandi, and it worked for them since people only caught them when they made a stupid move.
When the market place guards burst into action, the two momentarily stopped their spree to check out what was going on. What they saw had them groaning in disappointment. A guildmate of theirs (and wasn't that a kick in the teeth) was running from the fuzz over a bottle of ketchup,(A. Bottle. Of. Ketchup.) and had the audacity to claim she was a good thief. One of the twins scoffed, while the other clucked at the scene. "What a disgrace to the name of thieves everywhere," the twin without a hat quietly whined to his brother as he adjusted his sunglasses. "I feel insulted. Do you feel insulted?"
The other twin was gritting his teeth at the red garbed idiot's proclamation of being a "good" thief."What ******** bullshit. The broad got caught stealing ketchup? Who the ******** steals ketchup!? " he groused as he clenched and unclenched his hands. It was going to be a pain in the a** to continue their fun since people were going to now be paranoid over a thief who was at large.
"We would steal ketchup," hatless interjected.
"Who the ******** asked you?" the other snapped at him, before he turned around and angrily stalked to another part of town. With a sigh his twin followed suit, since he didn't want to get caught up in the excitement their guildmate caused.
It wasn't long before the two were lost somewhere, but they didn't really care and they ducked into an alleyway to hide behind some thrown out barrels. They had goods to look over.
