My favorite thing was the diaries system. For me it was an ideal way to communicate.

The avatars were also just... the best. Anywhere.

And Sevens. Sevens was a lot of fun.

1. Diary.
The best way to communicate with your all friends, and them able to comment on your Diary post.

2. Selfys
Their avatars were perfect emotion_kirakira
Not to fat, not to thin. And the GCs were amazing with the Animoots and such.
But 1 dislike was the prices of it.. 12GC = 1Anmoot. rolleyes

3. Chat Rooms.
Best place to make friends, You can make a room, someone comes in and BAM. Friends.
A few Trolls would come here and there, but they were pretty funny.
Everyone wasn't socially awkward to each other.. Unlike "Town" rolleyes

I did really like the Diary feature on there. I liked that you could make it as private or as public as I wanted. I'd usually dump all my stupid thoughts there.

Another thing I grew to love was the fact that people started calling me a tyrant in the Pokemon Lovers Club even though I wasn't ordering anyone to do anything. All I did was keep a thread bumped up that pointed out problems that made the group not so great, and would remake it when the post count go to the max.

I loved making new avatars with my favorite items. They were all so cute! TM really did have a way of making the cutest-ever items.

I really liked the avatars, especially the fact that there weren't designated "male" and "female" bases, you just got an androgynous base and you could decide how you'd like it to look.

To be honest, the avatar style in TinierMe, though flat, are closer to my preference. Helps that it's somewhat pure [ie not -esque / inspired]
Not much to regret missing other than that, though; well, maybe the diaries, too.
Journals just aren't as accessible here, and are often not counted in notices.

On a side note, does anybody know how to recreate or somehow 'translate' Gaia avatars into TinierMe avatars? I'd like to see the results of that.

EDIT: And another thing I sorely missed: Proper cosplay avatars. I lost a almost-complete Kaito avatar to the void that is cancellation.
And it's ridiculously hard to cosplay him, let alone a good chunk of Vocaloids.
