Stage #23302A -- Spire of the Ark.
The spire is a completely mechanical construct, the spire generates a massive amount of energy, the platform atop the spire remains stationary as the rings and levels below the platform rotate and revolve like orbital halos around a needle. The platform itself rests 30,000 feet off the ground, suspended by the mechanical trunk which gives the spire its name. The platform measures to be 40 feet thick, 500 feet in diameter, and is constructed of Tungsten, Iron, Steel, Titanium, Aluminum, and a plethora of other metals. The air is surprisingly dense with oxygen despite the immense altitude. However, a strong air current constantly rushes past and over the platform with gusts being measured from 10 mph up to 30 and 40 mph. The skies are clear, the sun is hanging over head at the position in correspondence to the time of 2:46 PM. The temperature is around 50-60ยบ Fahrenheit.

The air on top of the Spire was cool and refreshing, it carried the smell of blood stained on the metal of the Ark itself from the countless conflicts that had transpired there over the eons that it had stood. None knew of the original constructors or how they had managed to build such a colossal thing with whatever technology they had available. But one thing was certain, this place had seen many lives laid bare, and would see many many more before it's foundation fell to ruin. Atop the Spire was a small girl, a mere 5' tall with long white hair. She was wearing a black and white outfit, complete with a corset chest piece, a flowing white skirt, and armored boots and gloves. Her amethyst colored eyes scanned the horizon for a while, memories of her first moment into the world she knew flooded her mind, the metal of the Spire bent and creaked beneath her feet. It had been nearly 10 years since she had last visited this place, the place of her birth.

The sky was filled with clouds, it was very serene to her here. Her mind returned to calm as she watched over the land that was called her home. Like a guardian, she stood, her hair billowing in the gusting wind that slid over the platform that she stood upon. The sovereign ruler of a land that was of sword and stone. Dust and bone. She heard her name whispered through the breathes of the wind, Sairen Gosuto. Sairen looked down at her small frame, her markings now glowing brightly as her opponent would be approaching soon. A kinetic field of sorts surrounded her body, diverting forces of momentum down and away from her, pushing into the metal of the platform. Her tails, each one being wire thin and reaching a length of 75 feet, whipped around behind her, like an animal awaiting it's prey to make the first mistake of showing itself. She had 50 tails in all, each constructed of her bone, the rare and nearly indestructible diamond-like Celestial Carbon formed her internal framework, her skeleton was that of beautiful destruction. Her mother had taught her in the use of her abilities, infusing poisons and toxins as well as venom into each of her tails, replenishing the supply whenever it ran out through means of her Biokinesis.

Sairen held close to her breast a small locket with a sketched image held within. An image of her mother and father, sitting below a crystal tree, watching a star shower fall in the sky. She held Eve's Requiem in her right hand, the blade shining in the sunlight from overhead. She took a deep breath and brought her tails into a sphere around herself, seemingly like a shield, an invisible one, which would protect her from anything that would approach her. She tucked her glorious white feathered wings against her back, bowing her head for a moment as if in prayer. She muttered a few words under her breath, sending her mind into a state of pure focus and concentration, this fight would be an interesting one for her. Her fingers grew as the bones of her hands extended like her tails, forming into claws infused with the same venom as her tails. She was ready, but what about her foe? Only time would tell now.

The air rushing past him stirred his jet black hair as he ascended swiftly talons and claws scraping at the side of this glorious edifice. A good amount of time had passed since he had last entered good combat which to him wasn't exactly life threatening but close to it. His opponent was focused in his mind but he kept a sharp attention to detail as always to be ever ready, his jagged horns protruding from his forehead had grown in the past years now each about as long as a grown mans forearm. A hardened face covered in bright red scales sharpened his features the strong jaw line, prominent brow, and the dark brown nearly black eyes that constantly swiveled in there sockets. Steam puffed lightly out of his mouth not due towards the temperature of the air but from the core temperature of his own body that had begun to rise as he clambered up the spire.

The blood red cloak wrapped about his shoulders whipped in the wind as it picked up for a moment, his claws gave him a good purchase so the wind didn't impede him in the least. He liked it up here to be above the world looking out and over, a small part of his mind always thought of the past which was invoked when the sun glinted off the ring that set upon his right middle finger. A silver band set with a black stone, not visible during his swift movements but a faint green aura could be seen by those with sharp enough eyes. The ring given to him on a most memorable occasion had pulled him through many an ordeal, The Ring Of Taurus sat proudly. He neared the top now and brought his mind back fully to the task at hand, the two broadswords placed in an X fashion across his back rattled reassuringly on his back.

The left hand gripped his primary and favorite weapon a massive great sword the components that made up this were hard to come by and Sharamir showed favor to the weapon he made with his own hands with a little help from a smith god, nearly as long as he is tall and engraved with his own blood named and baptized in blood of his enemies on the same day. A grin parted his lips revealing his abnormally sharp teeth as the distance to the top closed a long time ago it seemed, he remembered words had to be spoken for what was coming but his past trials demanded more of him than ever so as his hand landed on the lip of the uppermost platform it was a flame as his body went through a change pulling himself up easily with all that was in tow.

As soon as he had begun to rise he noticed the girl positioned on the other side, the golden clasp melted and caused the shroud to fall away from him as the fire spread across his entire body changing his scales thickened, and hardened. His eyes becoming a pure white as his talons, tail which was barbed at the end wrapped around his waist, teeth, and claws became elongated and sharpened. His bare chest broad and scaled as the rest of his body filled with the cool air as he descended back down not having propelled himself to high he didn't want to create any opportunities. Landing much softer than someone of his size should have at 6'3 not including his horns and around 230 pounds. By the time he had landed the change was done now also unlike then took mere seconds to complete, Z'ar his great sword almost seemed to hum in his hand drawing in the energy from the air and storing it away within the blade it fed and it would continue to do Sharamir had never discovered its limit for energy capacity and wasn't sure it even had one he would let it drink till there is nothing left.

Rising slowly the disappearance of his pupils gave him a blank stare as he studied his opponent, small trails of fire snaked about his limbs as he brought Z'ar up to shoulder height aiming the point at her Arm out stretched and spoke in a deep voice that like a river of stones had smoothed itself out over the passing years "Come, let us test our mettle in the furnace of battle." He had not meant to sound indifferent in truth he was very excited about this fight, but all his opponent would see and hear was the calm soul of a warrior.

"Marvelous, isn't it? The way the sun hits the dust perfectly, casting a glare on the world like the eyes of a hungry predator. . . it is almost strange how calming it can be." She turned to him, the markings upon her body glowing through her clothing. She gripped her blade and sheathed it, holding the sheathe in her left hand and pressing down on the blade within the sheath with her right hand as her kinetic shield began to press down even more on the area around her, creating a dent in the metal of the platform beneath her feet. The young girl seemed slightly scared from the look in her eyes, she had never fought a dragon before, she knew of the stories her mother told her about the fight that the two had endured before. How it lasted for so long and ended so quickly. She tossed the fear from her mind and it quickly came back. Her hand shook upon the hilt of her blade within the scabbard. The charms creating a small flash of light as her mind was cleared of all of her emotions, only pure focus remained.

Her tails slithered and swayed around her, preparing for what was to come. She focused her mind on the situation at hand and pulled herself back into concentration, her aura spiking up furiously as a psionic pulse emitted from her core, shaking the metal of the Spire to it's very foundation. "Please, forgive me. . ."

His mind drawn to her voice brought him back to his final fight before departing from his friends the memory of the beautiful battle still sat with him and stirred his battelust a little further. As his mind churned his features remained the same a small smile distorted slightly by his draconic features touched his lips and he took a couple steps forward then slid his right foot back letting the tip of his blade hang just above the metal floor as a swirling dark aura enveloped the length of the blade he turned his wrist so the edge was vertical while bringing his right hand up fingers slightly curled and across his left arm palm facing towards her. "Let your actions speak..." The vibration was registered in his mind as he watched everything about her from her breathing to the movement of her body limbs and eyes. He wondered how much force it would take to seriously injure someone like him, the thought had crossed his mind as the area around her dented downwards.

The space where he walked left footprints burned into the metal the spot where he stood now was red and smoke rose from it his body temperature was rising steadily am aura of shimmering air had begun to surround him, and smoke snaked past his lips thick, and black. His body was an enormous tank nigh impenetrable by normal means but he knew better than to underestimate his opponent, he hoped she would not do the same. His mind was slipping into a deepened combat mode soon any frivolous thoughts would be blocked out and he would be swept away in the heat of battle.

She shifted her weight around and turned her back to him, shaking again, tears seeming to form in her eyes as she pushed down harder onto the hilt of her blade. The entire platform began to quake and twist. She was pushing down so hard that the spire itself was beginning to buckle under the pressure. Her tails whipped outwards, slashing at his body from all directions with their diamond like forms aiming to pierce his scales, their venom waiting to taste his blood and corrupt his body. She shook harder, dropping into a crouch of sorts, a soft wailing sound being echoed through the air around them as she started to scream. Her sonokinesis amplifying the sounds until they rocked and vibrated the massive structure of the Ark. Sairen was changing, drastically.

His nostrils flared in nearly an instant he was surrounded by the barely visible extremely lethal weapons he had seen what something like this could do and wasn't about to let it happen to him. His claws began to glow on his free hand as he turned his other wrist, upon the flat of the blade the engraved markings glowed and its weight increased to near 500 pounds. At the same time he spiked his own body temperature, this combined with the sudden mass increase caused him to fall straight through the floor liquefying the metal as he went an aura of flame coming to life around him. Turning the free hand palm up he thrust it into the passing metal sending tendrils of fire from his fingertips up through the spire towards his opponent which turned into five white hot lances that were aimed at her feet and three for her chest. Right after releasing them he would tuck his legs in and kick one side of his makeshift tunnel with his sword making an opening he propelled out of the spire a about 50 ft below the top.
Sairen Gosuto RPC

Her kinetic shield did it's job, the momentum of the tendrils was sent straight down into the platform just before it could hit her. As he left the spire, her body's markings began to cover her entire body, lines of blue and gold crossing across her skin as her magnificent white wings sprouted from her back. The entire spire then snapped halfway down the shaft of the Spire. Clean in half, it was torn asunder as Sairen began to tear it apart and throw massive chunks of the spire at Talson at surprising speeds. Her force on the hilt of her blade kept increasing as the platform she still stood upon was beggining to fold in onto itself.

Sharamir let out a puff of smoke latching on to the side of the spire using it to fling himself back up as the force his opponent exerted was causing the entire structure to buckle and fall apart. He was still rising through the air when he noticed the first chunks of metal hurtling towards him in a lighting quick motion that would have been been missed by normal eyes. His tail whipped out from around his waist striking out at the chunks as they came despite the size and speed of the projectile the broad side of his tail would catch everyone sending it hurtling back with amplified force as he passed the upper most level this time going far higher. He noticed the seeming pulsating markings that lined her body and wings and his smile grew wide. The fire in his eyes flared licking out at his eyebrows and what seemed lines of light began to snake their way around his body outlining his scales. and small crevices as he brought up his great sword relinquishing his grip only for it to be snatched out of the air by his tail. "How would you like to see my wings..." he muttered to himself in the air as the projectiles followed him up Sharamir was dangerous in himself one of such reasons his ease of transformation which he practiced every chance he got once he noticed it as a weakness in having to halt to grow more powerful. "In the mean time" Twisting his body so he was facing down he grabbed the next chunk that was lobbed at him and in a great feat of strength crushed it condensing it down in a second then compounding it upon the next his heightened reflexes showing as he reduced each chunk down to a manageable size.
Sairen Gosuto RPC

She continued pushing down on the blade, the ground around her feet now straining to retain their form and strength as the pressure she was exerting from her technique built to catastrophic levels. Air and wind, howling by her, around her, seemingly in lieu with her desires, it let forth a cry, a sound, a song. A high pitched sound at first, like a child's scream of terror. Then it softened, to a hum, a gentle angelic sound. It echoed through the air like a call in the darkness to a loved one's heart. The Siren's Song, as it was called, was a sound created by a massive amount of pressure being exerted on a single point where air is freely flowing around it at fast speeds, such as on top of a mountain or tall construct, such as the Spire. The sound was amplified by Sairen's sonokinesis to a point that the symphonic humming of the Siren's Song became an ear-piercing and quaking force of sound and pressure.

The markings now covered almost all of her body, her eyes glowing brighter now, a soft flaming aura overcoming her gaze whilst she kept her focus on the area around her. The chunk that was thrown back at her was stopped dead in the air, her Metallokinesis taking hold of it like a hand of great power. "Come closer. . . let me take a closer look at them. . ." She hissed out with a tone that seemed to be one of a completely different being than Sairen. Her hair began to become lighter in color, almost seeming transparent. She drained the aura of energy from the area around her using her Vampiric-like fangs and feeding need. Something was really off about her now, things seemed like she was not trying at all to fight, what could she be planning?

The light coming forth from him pulsed brighter and seemed to spill over his scales considerably bright in two spots on his back. "Your funeral.." Sharamir spoke just as light burst from the spots on his back forming the shape of two massive wings which faded to the blood red of his claws as their light faded so did that about his body, the brilliant flash it had produced was enough to permanently blind someone if looked at directly. Spreading his maw that had more the look of a snout Sharamir exhaled the pain of this transformation had lessened over the years but it was still there. His height and muscle mass had increased along with a number of spikes protruding from his body, his forearms, shins, and some parts of his wings, flapping once he rose higher into the air as the tail holding the the greatsword which transformed as well into its more destructive form, it now stood nearly as long as he was tall and seemed to be made completely of shadow leaving trails of darkness as it moved. A lot about him had changed over the passing years as this one was about to find out he thought almost chuckling to himself, but he knew he must remain weary no matter how might the opponent if you can exploit there weakness they are yours. He kept this in mind as the gigantic sword swung forward his tail still handling it quite easily still and traced a large circle Leaving a black line seeming to cut into the very air itself. Sharamir moved in a calmer manner now even though his warrior's spirit burned inside him he placed the tip of his weapon in the very center of the circle in a precise stabbing motion with both palms against the handle fingers not wrapped around, but extended in joined. "Lets agree to get serious now yes?"

With that he moved his hands in opposite directions as they moved both claws began to glow brightly as the one had earlier. From the tip of Z'ar now Z'ar Welun flowed a chaotic power that filled the outline as it spun at an unbelievable rate becoming a swirling dark spiral. As soon as it began he went into a thrusting motion first his left then his right repetitively, fingers slightly curled and left five white dots minuscule in size with each thrust. With blinding speed he had accumulated over a thousand dots in just a few seconds.

She crouched slightly, her body seeming to tense up as the pressure on her blade continued to increase, her tails wrapped around her, like a cocoon, she was preparing for something devastating, that much was certain. In a sudden twisting motion, she vaulted off the crumbling spire platform, tearing it apart as she flew. The shredded pieces of the spire revolved around her, like a galaxy of stars around their center. She used her tails to form a tiny point, breaking the air resistance by forming herself into a bullet. The spire's shards following close behind as she twisted about, a screeching sound cracked the air like glass as she flew. She rocketed towards Sharamir, the pieces of the spire now circled around her closer, almost like a pack of predators closing in on their prey.

Abruptly stopping his thrusting motion Shar brought his right hand down clamping his grip upon the handle of Z'ar Welun. The muscels in his arm bulged and his jaw clenched as his sword shook violently, not just from its sudden stop almost like something inside it was straining to break free as he saw his oppnent sitting far below in a crouched position on the wobbling remains of the spire. Bringing his arm across, the tip of his blade pointing down and to the right. The dark spiral now filled with an infintismile amount of dots that swirled around a center point that being the sword as he placed his palm on the blade around the middle which seem to quiet the tremors within. "How would you like to swim upon the stars?" he remarked shifting the blade to his other side claws dragging against its face as it moved the draconic lettering inscribed upon which sprung to life under his touch glowing brightly which contrasted the blades shadowy state. It was almost a beautiful sight to behold if it hadn't been coming at him the various debris bending to her will in a graceful dance about her person.

Red archs of energy danced along his arm down to the blade as the shaking returned he brought that arm back the other hand placed behind the pommel. The spiral now taking on a red tint as his own power was fused into it. His wings flared catching a wind as he sent a might thrust forward imperceptible from their distance but would could be noticed is the spiral detached itself from his blade point heading straight for a head on collision with Sairen's self made storm. Raising his left hand that had become clenched as it passed over his blade the spinning projectile stopped. "Universal torment..." Extending all of his fingers in one motion the spiral reacted and expanded into a massive vortex filled with the tens of thousands of the dots which grew but orginally being minute in size they were a little less than inch in diameter. The swirling energy mass itself was well over a thousand yards in diameter, this attack not usually as devastating but through the constant stream of energy Z'ar was fed and with a good amount of his own the spiral was made much larger than usual. The spiral was no more than 100 ft away from him and his opponent when he raised Z'ar high into the air with an ominous grin "Terra crusher." Upon this words the ring glowed brightly and a white beam shot high into the sky then out of view and like the giving away of a great damn, lances of fire imbued with chaotic energy rushed forth from the spiral like a gigantic maw home to countless denizens of the dark swirling making each projectile coming from a different area than before. They each were small but about a foot long and red and black energy ran about the face of each one. The first of many colliddded with a piece of debris and embedded itself deep within then detonated causing a medium sized explosion, another landed but instead of exploding dark fire surrounded it which had higly corrosive properties unlike normal fire and began rapidly eating away at that particular chunk. Giving a mighty flap he went back and down heading to the lower right side of the swirling behemoth his blade held at the ready now once more grasped in his tail.
