Booty Grab is the best way of getting quick gold by far. Here's a handy guide.
Posting in the forums is pretty good too though, and playing games like zOMG.

Yup! Everything that's meant to be said has been; Booty Grab and zOMG are great ways to get gold. You should look for guilds that specialize in Booty Grabs, like the Booty Prowling Panters, they have really good lists of tanks you can play.
