How can you love pancakes if you eat them? I don't eat people or things I love.

Pancakes actually aren't that unhealthy a breakfast, really, at least if you minimise the amount of oil used to cook them and don't over-top them. A standard pancake is no worse for you than an egg on white toast, and "healthing them up further" by making them with wholemeal flour isn't a loss -- especially if you're making thick pancakes ones or pikelets!

I eat them every weekend, because I tend to breakfast late and don't necessarily get the chance to have lunch. The protein from the egg and the (soy) milk easily keeps me going until 6 or 7 in the evening.

MMmmmm pancakes. How could it ever be wrong to eat pancakes! Now I want some.

Unfortunately me and my husband fail at making pancakes so I never get to eat them very often. /sigh
