[>] The entry fee is 500 gold per avatar submission. You can submit multiply entries, but each must be paid for.
[>] Once the entry fee is submitted, simply post your entry (using the form found in one of the post below) in the thread. Any entries posted without submitting a fee will be deleted/ignored.

[>] There is no price limit to the tekteks.

HOW THE CONTEST WORKS

[>] The contest will be broken into rounds.

[Round 1/ Submissions]: Submissions will be open until Friday July 29, 2011 (11:59 PM EST).
____[>] The judges will rate all of the submissions; the Top 20 will continue to the next round.

[Round 2/ Showcase]: The Top 20 will be broken into 2 groups of 10 contestants. A poll will be placed up for each group for one week.
________The judges will also rate the contestants once again. The combined scores will be used to determine the Top 10 contestants, who will continue to the next round.
[>][>] Because of the number of entrants, there will be 40 Round 2 Contestants. Good luck to all of you! We will still reduce them to ten for Round 3.

[Round 3/ Finals]: The Top 10 will be polled by the public for one week; that score, combined with the judge’s vote, will determine the winners.

HOW THE VOTING WORKS

[>] Each judge will rate the contestants on a 5-point scale.
[>] The public vote will be converted to the 5-point scale; the two highest rating contestants will receive 5 points, the next two will receive 4 points, and so on and so forth, until the lowest ranking contestants receive one point.
[>] The points from each round will be totaled and the contestants with the highest ranking will continue to the next round.

ENTRY FORMS

[>] Please post this in the thread after you have submitted your trade request.
[>] In the comment section, you can include what themes you were using, a story about your tektek, or any other information that enhances and distinguishes your creation.
____[>]While this is optional, by providing some comments, you may have a better chance at impressing the judges.
