I give them exp. shares, and then head to victory road. Works pretty well!

I like starting from New Bark/Twinleaf/Pallet/Littleroot & work up. if it's an egg, then I usually do the lead in front and switch out until at least level 5 from the starting town.

How about ya'll?

Slap an xp share on it, put it as lead. Run the E4 along with high level pokemon. Switch in share'd mon as soon as the opponent switches in a new one - immediately switch out. ??? Profit!
Typically you can level a lv 1 pokemon up to level 35 this way, or much higher if they get trade bonus exp.

Demonic Muse

Victory Road. Put them first, then trade them out with my gengar, which I've found is virtually untouchable there.

Dapper Citizen

I'm another who goes for the EXP share route. It makes it much less of a hassle and sometimes they just level up twice in one battle. Much easier that way.
