I noticed something, which has not been seen yet in the anime thus far.
Now If you've been keeping up with the anime, you'd know that Isshin Kurosaki (ichigo's father) is a soul reaper (or was one..). And was a captain. But it was never said which squad he was the captain of. The symbol on his captain's coat has never been visible.
However in a recent filler episode near the end, you can catch a glimpse of the squad symbol on his back. Its in the shape of an 'X'.
But none of the current 13 squad captains have such a symbol back...
So it still remains a mystery as to what squad Isshin belonged to when he was a captain.
or perhaps i'm missing something?
Any insight on this matter..?

Perhaps its a symbol of a member that was kicked out of the squad or banished from soul society.

I never thought of which squad he might have
been the captain of. Gosh, I don't think I clearly
remember the episode I am on...
