Monster Galaxy is Back!

After getting in contact with Viximo (the company hosting the game for us) the problem was tracked to server changes on their end. The server issues have been resolved and the game is working again!

Black Holes

...And you thought space was the only place to see them... or not see them... as the case may be...

Just wanted to let everyone know that we are aware of the issues with the black items glitches. We are still working on upgrades to the avatar image building system and our most recent changes, well, left holes.

Item Search

Good news for those of you with HUGE inventories. You can finally use inventory search on the avatar, inventory, marketplace, and trade pages.

The code behind the search results is now the same as that of the marketplace listing search.

Search tips:

MCs can be found with: premiummc
EIs can be found with: premiumei
CIs can be found with: premiumci

Item Search update

I just made a small change to the item search code, and you can now make partial item name searches in the marketplace, avatar, inventory, and trade pages.

You have to use * to tell the search you want a partial match.

Example:

pico* will return Picolitrosso's Urn
luc* will return The 4th Amigo Lucki Pants, Lucky Star, and anything else that begins with 'luc'.

Missing black pixels fixed

We squashed the black pixel bug for good this time. Please save your avatar to fix any issues with missing pixels. Thank you for your patience!

Please re-save your avatar to fix the blank pixels.

PS - There will be some small cosmetic changes next week that should make transparent items look nicer.

Avatar glitches fixed - no more missing items

In the latest battle between developers and the army of green goo bugs, many Gaians found themselves with missing items, limbs, or even their faces. gonk I believe that the bugs had sneaked into the system and removed some of the fixes that was made last week...

After some digging we believe that the last of the bugs were squashed. Gaians now have their limbs back and even the issue with black avatars in Towns 2 have been fixed.

Please re-save your avatar for the changes to take effect

Countdown to Easter!

Our annual Easter event is right around the corner and will be here before you know it. To help keep you entertained until it goes live though, we've set up a special "Easter egg" hunt for you. Every day, until the start of the event, we'll be hiding a new puzzle piece in one of the areas related to Gaia Online. Your goal is to find all the pieces of the puzzle and arrange them to form the special event illustration we made for you. Once you do, you'll be able to see a visual representation of our Easter event theme this year and make a mental choice of what you side with. Sorry, there's no item grant for solving this, just the satisfaction of early knowledge and a pretty picture.

Are you up for the challenge? If so, you'll need your empty puzzle board. Fill it with the pieces you find to create the full illustration.
